Ghost of Tsushima - Easy vs Hard Difficulty Comparison (Boss Duels) 

There’s no shame in playing games on easy mode. What matters most is to enjoy and have fun. A true gamer should never insult a fellow gamer just because they’re playing it on easy mode. To each his own

So glad I started this on hard difficulty. The experience you have with this game isn’t right if enemies don’t feel just as lethal as you.

act 1 normal mode: too ez, let me try hard mode later on act 2 hard mode: *get rekt by the random straw hats* act 3: honor code? Never heard that before *stabbing poisoning hallucinating burning shooting intensifies*

Ubisoft needs to take notes from this game. I'm always disappointed in how bad the combat in AC still is. This is like a much deeper, more satifying version of the older AC games.

I started on Medium difficulty, then lowered to easy because I was feeling overwhelmed. Then gradually moved back up to Medium. By New Game+ I went straight into Hard+ Mode and I'm glad I went through that steady easement. Now my reaction is quicker, and by no means does it even make sense to go down in difficulty anymore. The agonies I've heard over Ryuzo's duel I didn't have to deal with because I was prepared for it.

The reason why this game is really amazing on lethal/hard difficulty is because you have your adrenalin pumping like in Dark Souls but you get waaay less punished if you fail. You don't have to wait for a long time, travel back to the location where you died or any of that nonsense. You can just try again immediately, and I think this is a great formula

Hard mode (later lethal mode): - Yaaaaaaaaaa! Easy mode: - I will hit you. - Ok. - But get ready. - I am! - Later don't say I didn't tell you! - Fine! - (hits) oh I missed! Again! - Again!? Goddamn it!

I play on easy mode because if im frustrated at work, i dont get frustrated by video games

Hard mode kicks my ass when it comes to the bosses and just normal mobs lmao

I played regular until maybe 5 or 6 hours in when I felt I understood what I was doing. Hard is so much better it forces you to know your equipment I have a major problem forgetting my kunai but this is reminding me they're kinda OP.

The game is easy when they go to you one by one but if there is like 6 of them its pretty challenging, especially if they are the big ones

I imagined this game would be too easy on normal, so I started on hard mode right away. The duels are still a struggle but it s so satisfying when you win. (Maybe I ll venture to play sekiro next...)

I was playing easy just to see how the devs intends me to play the game, looks like have to change it to hard, quite agree normal seems kinda easy too

First i was playing at Medium, than lowered it to Easy because i keep dying. For me, Easy is like Medium, because all of the Enemies and Boss we're fair with my skill. That's Medium. In this game, Playing Medium is like playing Hard.

Played half the game in normal, wanted to see how tough was hard, anyways I finished it in hard, it was pretty good

Now we need a " Low Intensity" + Easy vs Lethal+ high intensity

you should compare Easy and Hard in Kojiro boss ( of 6 swords) lol i think he is the best Duels in this game

easy mode looks more fun.. feel like a badass.. i always play easy mode :)

I play on hard mode and I was having a hard time to execute perfect parries and perfect dodges because the game has a weird input time requirement for it. In games like Sekiro and Soulsborne games, the timing is intuitive and just merely watching the enemies attack you will instantly click your mind into a parry. That's not how it works in GOT. If you see an enemy attack, instead of parrying right when their blade is near your body, you should parry way before that. But most of the time, your reaction is during always on the "before perfect parry" and the "after perfect parry" windows (latter causes you to get hit). Dodging is a better way to handle pressure in this game but I find that really boring since it's a samurai game and not like Dark Souls where you encounter large enemies. Don't get me wrong, normal parries are still perfectly doable and get the job done by reversing the pressure but perfect parry just has so much more reward. I just wish the parry timing was as intuitive as Sekiro's is though.

I just started playing. I was thinking of going with hard but went with normal instead. I die plenty on normal so normal is my hard difficulty.

I think hard mode should be regular normal and it should have an Extra hard mode which is just regular hard mode

The thing is I don't like how you're forced to use a certain stance against bosses. You can't switch stances I think, during boss fights.

Currently playing on Medium but it's getting too easy as I power up everything and getting better with picking the right charms, outfit and weapon for the right situation. Thinking about switching to hard 🤔

i have hard time in games like sekiro i coudnt even get through the beginning(tried for 3-4 hourd during 3 days n nope died n died n just got mad) 1 problem is arthritis in both hands(so always stiff n pain is on n off,in souls games w alot of pressing the problem is huge even w special gels i use to brng down pain...no matter).. So i wounder at easiest mode if this game still is to hard for a person like me(i loved witcher 2+3 n ac origins+odessy+syndicate n played them at normal) So that is the thoughts i have,because paying alot of money n then wont be able to even play it is a huge wate of money and another game would then probably have been a better purchase)...(mayby if worst case its a mod for that just like in elden ring???) Thanks 4 video...(had a hard time even looking at screen in 1 of the fights 1st one)..

Started on hard and upgraded ghost path then i couldnt win early duels cause i had no perfect parry , eventually i did win but its was close to sekiro , and i did finish sekiro , later it gets easier

Just wanted to see how easy this shit was on easy mode, bc I just did this duel on Hard today, and is most definitely one of the easiest duels in the game.

Hard is fun. But "Lethal" doesn't give a single fuck about your skills, armor, enhancements, etc. One kick from Lady Masako and your ass is dead.

Most new games that come out I always start on hard just so it's more challenging and rewarding and also fun instead of it being boring because I win alot. Played last of us 1 and 2 on hard and my god was it a blast

i wish there was a even harder diffeculty, hard feels most of the time still way to easy with the right armor and attacks

Quick Tips: If You're playing a Modern Game, be sure to set up the difficulty to "Hard" Because nowadays it is the equivalent of Normal Mode In Modern Gaming. Whereas, Normal mode today is easy Mode.
