Ghost of Tsushima - No Honor 

Honor is a luxury that can be afforded in duels and times of peace; in times of war, you defeat your enemy however you can to ensure the well-being of your people. The game does an excellent job of showing that whilst honor can be beautiful, it's also necessary to adapt.

I think a lot of people tend to forget, that at the start of the game, shimura asks a young Jin what does honor mean to him, and Jin responds saying honor is protecting those who cannot fight. So it seems to me that Jin always had a different definition of honor compared to shimuras traditional way of thinking. Either way such great character development.

Dodging in this game is so satisfying

Using the hallucination blowpipe on brutes with fire bursting weapons is a deadly combo.

So Yuriko mentioned that Jin is much like his father and that Jin’s father was seen as a demon by his own men. It’s safe to assume that Jin’s tactics of terrifying the mongols would have been okay in the eyes of his father.

Ubisoft's never gonna make or will not even try to make Assassin's Creed with this type of gameplay and graphics.

This is impressive, I haven't really seen ghost weapons used this effectively and aggressively

One of the most incredible games i've ever played im only like in 2nd main mission but ive done so many side quests and still an insane amount to do not to mention the whole game lol im already strong as hell. I knew this game was going to be great but wow man blown away.

My take of the game so far is that Jin had to abandon the honor of being samurai in order to save the island, but acording Shimura early in the game that he said that honor is what it is for you and Jin answered to protect the people. Shure his way is gruesome but he technicaly is doing the protecting part.

Watching this makes me think about something. Doom Eternal's creative directors watched a gameplay video of an expert playing doom 2016 and absolutely killing it. But not a lot of people were playing that way. They picked it up and learned from that, and made smarter decisions in the next game which encourages players to play the badass way. I can see same things about Ghost of Tsushima, the gameplay gives a lot of potential to players but most of them can't play this way. If there is a sequel for this, they can learn from videos like this.

This looks absolutely amazing. I looks extremely polished for a souls like. The animations are very well done, and it all blends pretty damn smoothy together.. I love it.. I imagine the combat feels even better when playing it yourself?

This game does an amazing job of showing how being honorable and respectful can be a a fatal flaw I absolutely love how Jin learns to adapt and fight the Mongols the same way they terrorize the people of Tsushima

I’m fucking hyped to see what updates on the story would be like. Since the mongols are divided, I presume our enemies will be the shogun’s army. I would love to see the new weapons to come

I love how there are so many different ways to encounter and deal with enemy’s. The combat is amazing.

This cracks me up, Im not on act 2 yey but I pretty much explored and have done everything on the first island and I assassinated someone and it puts me in a few cut scenes reminding me about honor on top of everyone saying I dont fight like a real samurai but the irony is I dont play the game the sneaky way like it wants me to I just run in and fight everyone.

it's true that bushi(samurai soldier) have this code of honor, but in the real kamakura scenario, this can only apply in samurai conflict. when it comes to outsider (stronger invaders) all code are thrown out andthis when spy technique, sneak attack etc, is allowed, even by the jito/daimio themselves.(kinda similar to "nothing is true, everything's permitted")

To be honest he can one man Army the whole game story with only His Sword (No Tools) and become Super Greatest Samurai ever Exist and shimura would be proud of him and Jin train Shogun military with all his teachnic he learn and stance. At This Point All Samurais in Japan become superhuman like him with Superhuman Speed and Reaction. (1Samurai = 1 Army) Jin Sakai with Superhuman feat can fight with Honor the whole story with out need anyone to help and risk there life.

Make an infinite resolve build using Charm of Fortunate Return and Charm of Fortune and anything that increases resolve gain then spam Heavenly Strike. For each resolve pip you use for Heavenly Strike, you gain back 2 pips. Disclaimer: You'll ruin the game experience for yourself.

Samurai were monsters fighiting with everything they can to win the fight, contrary to what the myth surrounding it. This, bombs aside, is verymuch how a samurai would fight. Arrows, kunai hidden in the sleeves to catch the enemy by surprise, altough not launched very often. All that to say that kensei armor rocks.
