Nup33 420 Ubisoft would probably make it so that your samurai can kick someone 90 feet back, or turn invisible in stealth, or even allow you to change your horse into a unicorn😂

Exactly. Restarted my playthrough as soon as I realized that. I’m trying to decide whether I want to keep it at level 1 or go to level 2 :/ Level 1 has a crunchy sounding neck stab and a neck snap, but level 2 has a slit throat and a really cool “almost seen” stab.

Jacob Abbott yeah I wish I could do the same but I done so much side content and I think he still also does the neck stab if you upgrade it to level 2 I could be wrong tho.

The Baconator No, unfortunately level 2 only has the throat slit, and a completely different neck stab that sounds less crunchy. Still cool though. The best animation on level 2 is the animation where they almost see you, and Jin stabs it in their neck, and then breaks it to the side. It’s awesome, so I think I’ll go to level 2 and stop there.

The Baconator Yup. Just took the plunge on my restart and upgraded it to level 2. I’m stopping there. The level 1 animations, while pretty brutal, just seem really sloppy for the ghost, especially the trip/stomach stab animation, and that makes sense since level 1 represents his early attempts at stealth killing. All level 3 actually does is take the normal animation for stealth killing the heavy brute enemies, and applies it to every enemy. So, it’s fast and efficient, but one animation is boring af.

Funny bc I said to myself this morning " today after work, you're gonna stab the shit out of some guys using the stone stance!" I forget I can use the whole environment in combat too, some bad guys chased me to a rooftop where we had a pretty sweet battle.

@@rpgames6922 Joel fanboy? I was never a "fan" of TLOU to begin with but i enjoyed the first game. (Just the story and characters though, hated the gameplay) The second game was mediocre at best. Great graphics, good soundtrack, mediocre gameplay (The boring ass formulaic gameplay of Naughty Dog), poor to medicore characters and awful story. The only thing that i got out of my 60$ was eye candy and good soundtrack.

If I would be sucker punch I would patent some moves from the game and sue them if they use them. I simply don’t want Ubisoft to succeed. They were once a good company. But not anymore. Terrible ports (pc) microtransactions, unfinished games released.

GoT doesn’t have social stealth or complex parkour, two of the core gameplay pillars of AC. Valhalla is only missing the parkour. Not to mention that GoT has nothing to do with Assassins or their Creed, but Valhalla will.

@@jcers neither odyssey or origins had social stealth or complex parkour. The parkour in Odyssey is a joke compared to earlier games, you can climb thru clean no edges marble statues, like what are you even holding on to? not to mention pointless, non of the cities (athens, sparta etc) call on parkour to navigate. Odyssey also has fck all to do with assassins or their creed, all the focus seems to be on some sort of rpg/mmo, with the way you grind gear and levels. This game is more AC than we've had in years.

adam power Valhalla has Assassin iconography, social stealth, Assassin vs. Templar conflict, a present day story line including the old school present day characters, the Creed, AC philosophy, memory corridor confessions, the Animus, etc etc. GoT has zero of these things, yet is somehow more AC than Valhalla?

Assassin's Creed series (didn't play Odyssey, but I guess it's more of the same) is the pinnacle of superficial gameplay. Stealth is shallow, combat mechanics are shallow, plateforming elements are shallow. I hope this game is NOT like AC, because that would mean one thing about its gameplay...

Watcher trust me it is, you have to experience it. Riding on your horse through the forest, boss battles, wind physics, combat. Especially combat. You get more skilled as you go along.

@@sushi9303 It is incredibly long. I played for 12 hours straight and am only half done the first of three regions. That said, I feel like it's able to sustain that length. Very little of the content feels like filler to me.
