Let's see... the Ghost realizing the only way to beat the Mongols is to turn against his Uncle and the entire Samurai legion and is torn on whether it's worth it or not. Lots of build up. Or a Woman who traveled far with the intent of killing someone only to not kill them at the very last minute. No build up at all. Just blood thirsty till the very last minute.

Unpopular opinion: GOT has better storytelling than TLOU2. I don't mean the story is better (that is mostly a matter of personal taste) but GOT uses the characteristics of the videogame medium in order to tell a story better than TLOU.

All game commentators and award givers say this. Last of Us received the Lean Game award in 300 categories and is a much better game. Ghost of Tsushima is like a version of the Assassin's Creed games with slightly better quality and improved combat capabilities.

@SAM-2772 my biggest peeve about the first Horizon was how much damn space the UI took up. Like, every corner of the screen was covered in crap. The 2nd game had that fade out feature that you mentioned, but while in combat it would appear, and man, it was just too much. I love a good minimalistic UI. Especially in horror games like Dead Space where the UI doesn't break the immersion.

I am sure that TLOU 2 is great (never played it myself, but it got GOTY, so I imagine it's pretty good), but Ghost of Tsushima is an experience like no other. Ghost of Tsushima's characters and story are what make the game shine the most. The emotions felt throughout the game as Jin is forced to abandon his Samurai teachings to save his country is truly something no other game has given to me

Detail should be given to GOT as they went to the irl island of Tsushima to collect the voices of the local animals and also the geographical mapping to their game. They also incorporated the use of guiding wind into the game.

@@kraventhehunter1083 Well, my opinion had changed severely on the Last of Us Part II, mostly connected with writing. It may not be an undeniable masterpiece like the first part, but the gameplay and atmosphere were great. Ghost of Tsushima is completely worth your time, and it surely is not as depressive as The Last of Us Part II. I do not know your taste, but if you want to try masterpiece, Ghost of Tsushima is great choice. Although the gameplay is inconvenient at start and may be complicated on higher levels of difficulty.

I will say this (I could be wrong), didn't Ghost of Tsushima back in the summer of 2020 was like, outselling The Last of Us: Part II in terms of physical copies? Now I know sells doesn't always dictate what's a better game or not. In fact TLOS: Part II had grown on me to appreciate over the recent years, however I'm going with Sakai, Jin.

@@noikia Yes the original is 10× better, but Part 2 is still great. You cant blame Abby wanting to kill Joel and you cant blame Ellie wanting to kill Abby. Both Ellie and Abby have faced the consequences for their thirst of revenge. Abby regretted killing Joel and sought redemption after she meets Lev and Yara. While Ellie and Tommy are trying to hunt down Abby, killing her closest friends to acquire information. That is what drove Abby to become filled with hate once again and in return killed Jessie and came really close to killing Tommy, Dina and Ellie all together, yet she spared them. This showed us how much Abby has changed. But did Ellie acknowledge that? NO! She forced Abby to fight her by threatening to take everything away from her, which is Lev. In the end Ellie spared Abby because she didn't want that to haunt her for the rest of her life. She is at peace. And ultimately did a great deed by saving Abby and Lev, giving them the hope to survive. Isn't that a wonderful story😁

Na the last of us is better just think of the back story of Ellie miller and Joel the only reason people stoped likening the game because of Joel’s death and Ellie is a violent and by sexual character but besides that most of her game play is rated R and same with Joel’s he became death from to much gun shots and then Joel died but what gets me ticked of is that right before Joel’s death Eli’s decides to make out with mother fucking Dina and if Joel never met the fireflies were Abby killed him then he would of survived,And this is why I think the last of us I better!

Nahhh the character one goes to ghost of tsushima in tlou part 2 only people who actually got character depth and development is Abby and lev other people aight hear me out:- 1. Ellie [ got development in the literal end of the game ] 2. Dina [ a side character who stood on side thats it ] 3. Jessie [ when i started to have liking to that guy cuz he was only sensible person in ellies group he got his brains blow out ] 4. Tommy [ no character development at all in the end mission he send ellie to kill abby just because his half of his body didn't worked ] Where in ghost of tsushima every character has its own story and development except Khotun khan he was just there to fill the villian part .
