Thank you for clarifying the whole Effie and Lauren thing. Folks KEEP calling Lauren a snitch while rooting for Effie, who been showed her colors since the beginning, and she’s the one actually in the drug game when Lauren isn’t, so it wouldn’t even apply the same as Tariq said

Who is Effie really? Who is her mystery connect? Who is her personal lawyer she was trying to call while in jail? Who is her brother that she claims died in a robbery gone wrong? Who is her neglectful mother? Did Effie even tell the truth about her past? Effie may suffer a very tragic fate. She doesn't love Cane but will happily use him for her own agenda. Tariq will never trust her again but may use her for his own agenda. Crossing the 2 men in her life who were so heavily emotionally invested in her can lead to fatal consequences.

@@tnavaceo the robbery tht involved Tariq only resulted in a woman being killed. Which lead to Ray Ray killing the very people that killed her and then killing Raina trying to find Tariq. Which no matter which way it went, he would’ve met death either way. Killing Raina is one thing, but killing Tariq meant he’s now at odds with both Ghost and Tommy, and now KANAN, who I might add somehow always gets his revenge on people😂

@@Purplecity731 I’ve been contemplating that for a while. That may be how he knows Tariq. Effie’s brother was rumored to be in that robbery involving Kanan in season 3 of the OG, but he’d have to be her half brother cuz that nigga surely wasn’t mixed with anything😂

Effie fooled around with Cane to get back at Tariq for sleeping with Diana. She tried to kill Lauren to protect them from going to prison. I can't defend her for getting Tariq expelled. Lauren should blame Brushundria more than anybody for leaving drugs in her dorm, that's how she got mixed up in that situation.

Effie does love Tariq, but that was the intention of getting rid of Lauren wasn't because of anything to do with Tariq. She explains that in episode 310, Lauren jeopardizes the business, and that's why she tries to get rid of her; there is no such thing as being a civilian or being in the streets. In the words of the late Lorenzo Tejada and Scrap from Raising Kanan: "There is no such thing as out the game; everyone is in the game." Also, You can't get mad at Effie for sleeping with Cane when Tariq slept with Dianna the same day they broke up. Let's face it: y'all only hate Effie because you don't Hate Tariq anymore and hate to admit Effie and Tariq are the same character, both out for themself. The only difference is that SHE came from the bottom and is more loyal to the codes in the streets than the baby ghost.

The thing about Tariq and Effie is that they can never be anything for too long they started out as friends then became lovers then became enemies and then the toxic cycle starts all over again and it has to end at some point and that could very well happen in season 4 if Effie dies

Lauren was in fact threatened by Lauren. It was only apparent when they had the conversation about her and the wire Tariq defended her every time. Effie was way too territorial over Riq, but still committed treacherous deeds to him.

Every power show when you think about is a tragic love story and ghost in particular depending on how you look at it is Tariq and Tasha’s tragic love story or Tariq and Effies tragic love story because while Tariq clearly loves Lauren the most out of all his women and him and Effie most likely won’t be together in the end their relationship is by far the most developed out of all his women from them bonding over losing their siblings to them breaking up and making up and talking about how much alike and making all their future plans to even now where they’re at war now we just have to see how it ends
