In this video we will explore a what if scenerio. What if Cole Walker "Retires" (RU-vid friendly word) early in the game. Does the story change? Let's find out!
For anyone who was watching this earlier. I took it down for some changes. Apparently the video contains inappropriate material. Probably due to the word killed in the title (which i changed) or in the beginning of the video.. Regardless I'll just leave the video as is. Oh well. I hope you enjoy!
fuck inapropriate, its not like youtube is a good money making platform, also, where is nomad? all i see is some character swap. (i go with cannon and playing what fits the story, otherwise will stick to female if there is no canon gender for the character *also reffering to you as a he/him/man/ect is clear your are supposed to be a male*)
I like the one with Josiah more because he actually explains his plan and he gets flycatcher to break the glass and kill nomad as Josiah looks away because he can’t bear to see his friend die and doesn’t want to kill them so he gets another person too
@@ItsdaFittySimp , thankfully no, but I tell you, I was expecting to try and navigate my way through the vents. Thankfully we don't have to do that! I'm playing on regular level
Never made sense to me why the two "surviving" Ghost you meet in Erewon wasn't apart of your AI teammates lol Why not just have Fixit and Vicely rendered in that cut scene...
Speaking of those, I think teammates shouldn't be available as soon as you enter Erewhon. You need to do the first few missions to let them and Holt recover, then they join you against sentinel.
I think the two survivors at erewon should have been your teammates. Ngl Fixit, Fury, and Vasily are so lame and feel lifeless compared to the original squad.
My head cannon is that they are doing missions around Erewhon, keeping the location safe and misdirecting patrols. In the first cutscene with them, you can see one of them conversing with Mads, as if planning something.
@@nofacedgoldfish6216 The reason you never see Nomad is because he was planning on retiring after one last mission because his son felt he was never there with him then this was the last mission.
I like how Nomad slowly blinks a second after getting shot at behind the glass. It just shows even more “I don’t fucking care.” then when they instantly blink with Walker.
@@Chonkems if ubisoft actually "tried and put in hardwork" then this game wouldn't have failed instead it was just a downgraded version of wildlands the only thing breakpoint does better is animations
@@aleksandarsavevski377 injury system is better, customization is better, larger selection of weapons, provides more options for gameplay, larger selection of vehicles, stealth combat is better. Must i go on?
@@georgerodger2104 customization isn't better its worse wildlands had way better customizations and also "more weapons " is bullshit cause 70% of those weapons are the same just different variants and yes combat and the animations are better that I agree but everything else is a downgrade from Wildands
I wish the game could have the diverging option at the end of the video, regardless of if Walker was alive or not.. kill Skell(sp?) and join the Wolves/Sentinel. Could have been much better if two separate, large gameplay paths existed.
Rule with Tom Clancy games is that you'll never actually play the bad guy, even in siege, technically you're just doing training with the other players for actual missions.
@@jalenphillip9962 siege is not Tom Clancy game. It has no characters from Rainbow Six universe. Siege is bullshit arcande /MOBA hybrid created by Ubisoft and slapped the R6 and Tom Clancy on it to have it easier with marketing. It is a successful game in its own right, but it is a disasterous piece of garbage when it comes to judging it by carring its title.
The awkward pauses between dialogue are even more exaggerated with Female Nomad. It's brutally bad. Focusing on the positive though... Josiah's voice actor is pretty rock solid. He and Jon Bernthal are great.
My friends and I actually took down Walker before finishing Act 2, and it doesn't really change anything, but it sucked because 30 hours later we had to go back to his base and kill the behemoth again.
At most, the price range for GR BreakPoint should be: Standard - $30 Limited - $50 Ultimate - $80 Limited Collectors - $120 I love Ghost Recon but I just couldn’t bring myself to support this game. Wildlands was a mess but still enjoyable to mess around in with friends. The survival and Division mechanics just do not fit in this franchise. Had the developers allowed you to fight or join Walker and his wolves, it might’ve been an interesting game to contemplate the possibilities of future story events in the DLC, or campaign, if you could choose to side with Walker sometime in the campaign. Completely unrelated game, Jame’s Cameron Avatar (Xbox 360 game) started off as a marine, but later in the game, the game branched off into 3 paths you could choose that would change the rest of the game. 1. Fight against the Na’vi as a marine 2. Fight against the human occupation as a marine aiding the Na’vi 3. Fight against the human occupation as a Na’vi (as a marine who gained a body of the Na’vi) It’s interesting to choose what path you’ll take. Games nowadays do not innovate and grant the player a choice to choose their own way of play.
This is not an rpg. Just a linear shooter with open world. Story choices actually don't fit military shooters. But survival part does. As it is in every tactical shooter with an open world
I killed him earlier in the game then this...i killed him in the beginning when you have to go to those 3 crashsites...after the cutscene when he shoots your partner you can kill him before he goes in the chopper
@@wolfeygamer4222i dont know buddy...still need to play the story...but you can do the mission over again if you wanne..after you kill him in the beginning
Wolfey Gamer if you kill him that early, you get his weapons. It’s a good idea not to trigger Weaver’s death cutscenes and just go to the other crash areas then to Erewhon. Then save up to 10,000 Skell credits for a grenade launcher. Then head back and destroy the chopper he is in
You know I was in the fence when the shame first game out but after a few updates to the game and new content being added I genuinely have started to love it
They are canon characters but since you can create your own character ppl don't bother playing as them. But Ubisoft is planning on making ai teammates. Right now you play solo
@@lagzgaming9602 Now that I think about it, yeah, makes sense. Wildlands didn't have cutscenes with the whole squad with only the ending of Fallen Ghosts DLC having a quick squad cutscene. It'll probably be like back in Wildlands, commentary from the squad before and after a cutscene and random tidbits. Or at least I hope. I liked how the Ol' Bolivia team kept snarking at one another, to each other, and at everyone and everything else. Made them a bit more realistic.
If only this game was made after the times when Ubisoft decided to change their policy (kinda), after all the fuss that was made by the press and the players both about the quality issues, but, unfortunately, this was the very game to start the changes, it's actually sort of affected the whole industry as well, since after that a huge amount of games by various companies were delayed because of the quality issues. At least after the year this game is kinda on the decent level, but the story could be a lot better and ai teammates could be a part of all of this story since the beginning
Man, they rushed it so bad I was laughing playing the Beta. These modern games are all a joke, half assed and released to fix and patch over the course of two years or more. They overhyped these games too.
There is a reason why you can't join walker (Even though Ubi didn't think of it or explain it). It doesn't fit Nomads beliefs or character to join Walker, it does to understand him or sympathise with him, but not to the point of abandoning his/her mission to join or leave walker
After i killed walker I decided to replay rescue jace skell mission and i was confused why the the cutscene changed since josiah and those 4 were dead as well as walker but they showed up anyway
Can you try to see what happens when Stone "retires" early? It would be fun to see what the cutscenes look like, especially the ending credits with the rouge drone swarm.
There's a way to not kill him early? Literally after the prologue mission and tutorial mission the only other one for me to do was walker, and I killed him. Was my 3rd mission
lol i played breakpoint for the first time and started immersive w no gear scores and wanted to do the missions in order and for some reason assumed i needed to take walker out first. i guess i thought that bc when you first crash on Auroa i didn’t even approach the first set of wolves and tried to go back after erewhon to where we crashed assuming it led to walker. so i found his base first and killed him literally still with the base weapons, before even meeting jace skell. 😂 some of the cutscenes mentioned walker like he was alive and i was like uhhh what’d i do wrong? eventually i looked up some videos on youtube and saw the cutscene where you find Skell and Walker is shooting through the glass. But when I played it, it was Hill shooting at me. Eventually it all clicked but it’s funny you made a video on it.
The problem is that the devs didn’t bother with putting story locks in place to keep the player from running the story out of order. Something that is an industry standard
No it really wasn’t. In Zelda they wanted the player to have the freedom of choice. Here they clearly never intended for the final boss to be played till the end, meaning they messed up in not railroading the player
The devs are either lazy in not putting narrative railroads or are stupid in not understanding how a open world narrative like breath of the wilds works
It was more like a suppress fire, besides, after the whole loudness of the Behemoth explosion, Walker would be sure as hell about who is coming inside. But yeah, the story itself could be a lot better
Kinda funny seeing a tier 0 operator talking with a skinny little woman like she's a serious threat. Not that she's probably not dangerous, but elite male vs equally elite female isn't going nomadette's way
Now that the long wait for ai teammates was here and only slightly more advanced than they were in Wildlands I’d hoped they would also be implemented in the cutscenes but guess it’s too much to ask for like Goobisoft taking away our cosmetics in cutscenes
Ofcourse it does not change. I did the missions this way by accident. And they kept talking about as if he still lived. Kinda funny. Fun thing is that my character is identical to yours. Being female and dark brown/red hair and same hair cut.
so, by far one the most important characters in the game, who is by all means the main star in the game, who brings the most life and story to a game like this, and yet............he's able to be killed that early? wow, yeah this game really is trash.
@Breno Ferreira but he's the main villain, and the most, if not the only, interesting character in the game. if you kill him that early, whats the point of even playing through the rest of the game.
I just noticed watching the cutscene @11:35 that they didn't even change the dialogue to fit female nomad the dude says take care of him instead of her or even them wtf.
He was so easy to beat ngl okey get a lmg and you win kill his initial goons then hit his drones take cover because they will mow you down without a second thought. Luckily for me when i killed his last drone a stray bullet went through his dome piece. Nothing changes the game still goes on
Ok. Now what will happen if u kill Walker in the begining of the game after he kill Weaver (you kill him right after he kill Weaver and then on his way to the helicopter) ?
That wasn't Fury. Fury, along with Vasily and Fixit are coming to the game in a later date as AI companions. Just like mass effect has Fem Shepard, Breakpoint and wildlands have Fem Nomad.
Is this early access? If not what the actual fuck is this theres graphical errors everywhere and is there no music or is it turned off? If theres no music then im even more confused.
I killed Walker early and now I cannot unlock the rest of the main mission characters can anyone explain that I thought if I unlocked and did a lot of side missions the main characters other than Walker that I didn't kill would unlocked but they haven't how do you unlock the other characters once Walker is dead as far as the storyboard
my game must have glitched out, after weaver is killed. the chopper didn't take off so i w2as able to sneak up on the chopper and kill the wolf guarding it and it gave me walkers pistol and riffle. before even chosing a class.....weird.
This game is shame for the series Wildlands was much better than this (in campaign it was as nearly a s identical to how operators end the line for Drug lords)
