LMO recently recorded Frank Ilfman’s beautiful score for Ghost Stories. Martin Freeman stars as Professor Philip Goodman who, by chance uncovers a long lost file containing information on 3 cases of inexplicable hauntings, with terror filled consequences.
Frank Ilfman wrote for music was written for a 39 piece string section, flute (doubling alto flute), clarinet (doubling bass clarinet) and harp.
Rita Manning led LMO and also contributed violin solos.
2 smallMatthew Slater orchestrated and conducted the sessions which took place at Air Lyndhurst Hall, London.
Ghost Stories is written and directed by Jeremy Dyson and Andy Nyman and was distributed by Lionsgate early in 2018.
