Amazing research and graphics. Have you noticed that along every abandoned railway, you will never find buildings on the track bed. Most people think that rails are just laid on the ground. It is impossible to put buildings where there was once track. The only thing you can do is put a path, cycle route or a road there. There's nowhere below the surface to install firm foundations so it might well just be kept for its original purpose.
Hi James. I have just discovered your Ghost Train videos. Absolutely brilliant. I am particularly interested in this one of Norwich City to Whitwell & Reepham because I lived at Whitwell Common and travelled to school at Fakenham, from Whitwell & Reepham Station. Your video has provided me with a most enjoyable trip back in time. Many thanks.
@@JamesFoxTimeTravelArtist I have subscribed and have enjoyed many of your other videos, but this one was rather special. Maybe you are now getting rather good at making them?
In 1944 or 45 (memory dims) I travelled with my parents from City Station to Melton Constable, then on to East Rudham. Could your brilliant graphics possibly transfer me back there?
Great graphics and very interesting but the railway continues past Reepham and Whitwell. Any thoughts of covering this section that includes a loop and Reepham station. Thanks.
