Good to see you're all set for Spooky Season! I'd love that mod for mine, but it was fried from day one, out of the box. Completely dead. So I just weathered and updated it for looks, including all sorts of internal electronics, wiring, and gas canisters, etc.. so when I pop the doors (manually, sadly) it looks like a real item. I'll try to get good pics and put them on my community page at some point. But because of that, I can't take it apart anymore... I'll replace it someday, I'm sure... when I do, I'll gussy it up with that very kit.
Look great! I was bored and reversed engineered the Walmart Rubies version's gear box they used. 3d print the case and actuator, along with some gears and the 5v motor and limit switches and re use the existing bomb bay door mechanism in the Spirit Trap and voila. Add a pedal and you have a remote opening trap. It just slides in as an assembly like the Rubie trap like it belongs there.
That's amazing! I was planning to do the whole thing... Then Haslab launched their trap and PKE campaign.... Saves me some time and effort hahaha! Phew! Although it's probably not gonna be as trick as yours 😎

I just got this kit not realizing that I can keep the og motherboard so I need to look at what it looks like how you have it at the end. Also had a question how did you install your foster connection?
Sorry for the REALLY late reply. I just saw this now. It's just an air hose male adapter. I just make a hole and threaded it in hahaha. It's not functional.
