are you using the EQ effect on the drum/synth parts to cut those frequencies out during the live play?

I’m sending the synth and drum parts through the lpf (low pass filter) effect and tweaking the filter control live. If I remember correctly, I think I also added a subtle high pass filter rise automation in my DAW before the drums come in to emphasize the beat drop.
