I didn't feel a disco vibe from it. I felt like a surfing/beach vibe.

That's the furthest thing from disco. Surf/psychedelic rock. It's fine if you don't like the song, but at least know what kind of music it is.

Actually the title is Ghuleh/Zombie Queen. Disco? Respectfully disagree. No way that this has any Disco. It's more of a ballad-punk rock vibe fused together. Every Ghost song is a 10 for me.

Credit where credits due. The mixing on this song is great. The staccato drum beats the the surf rock guitar are used very nicely. Reminds me of some of the stuff from the band The Atom Age

I remember being on a boat in the middle of my grandmother's lake at 3 in the morning; Full moon, clear sky, fog... and this song playing in the background. It's an image that always stuck in my mind because of how blissful it was. Either way its a good song, it's just not for everybody.

The sudden change up in the middle is why it's called Ghuleh/Zombie Queen. It's kind of two songs. Similar to how songs on American Idiot does it. It's not just called Zombie Queen as it's labeled in this video.

The spend up section is like 70s psychedelic rock not disco. Thats what Ghost does because they are influenced by acts like Blue Oyster Cult and The Doors. Along with modern metal and rock. They have such a unique style.

Easily one of my favorite Ghost songs. Also, disco...? The fuck are you guys on...? It's called surf rock. And the fact they threw in some surf rock just tells you how amazingly unpredictable Ghost are. I love the first third of the song with the slow, melodic melody but STILL the fast part absolultely saves the song and makes it EVEN BETTER. This song blew me away the first time I heard it. So damn good.

"Putrification" is actually just an uncommon alternate word for Putrefaction. It's not really the proper term, not in dictionaries, but it's common in speech. People probably started mentally mixing the word with its opposite 'purification'.
