I watched the movie and cried so much with my husband. very touching for Harold Ramis and all of them legends. Long live the Ghostbusters and these legends from the 80s and before
Harold Ramis was perfectly honored throughout this film ,from beginning to end. It was so well done. This is for Harold, the OG cast & the legions of GB fans🙏🙏🙏
Just finished watching it. Love it! The climax is not over the top as the first movie but it has a lot of heart. I love the scene when Phobes confronted her mother over "Grandpa" and it was very heartbreaking and the ending is very emotional. This movie is all about making peace between the mother and her kids and "Grandpa" and cherishing the ones you love before it is too late.
Brought me back to the theater. Great to see the team back together. Touching send off for Harold Ramis. The young lady carried the movie like a champ!
@@Jucelegario I have been paying close attention…. but I state again, haters gonna hate. If you are wanting to get under my skin in a youtube video comment, you gonna have to try harder than that pal. You don’t like the idea of the film, don’t watch. That’s your call. No need to try to ruin for those of us that are excited for it.
i wasnt in the VIP tent but i was there! it was my second viewing 😂 not often i get to go to the premier of a movie i've already seen. they gave Ecto Cooler to everyone there
@@andrewbloom7637 you're making stuff up now! The ECTO-1 survives the film and so far Afterlife is getting rave reviews. The Kid angle is not what you seem to think it is and I won't go into details because they're spoilers but if you're a fan of the original two films you'll love Afterlife .
@@andrewbloom7637 how can you put that Resident Evil shit on par with Ghostbusters?that one is going to suck big time and if Afterlife is really the very last one ..im fine with it at least we "Fans" get the derseved true sequel/reboot whatsoever
@@andrewbloom7637 theres a Fanbase for Ghostbusters and Resi Fans , Im fine with that and if you dont like the Movie im ok with that too theres no need to go nuts a good Movie is not based on the money they spend on it or the runtime the result is what matters
@@andrewbloom7637 you're clearly a superfan of the 2016 film and you're bitter that your film didn't live up to your expectations. That's fine, we're days away of proving whose right. Believe me when this is a big hit, I will reply to you and rub it in your face that you're wrong.
Jason Reitman was right. I'm so glad they didn't release it digitally. I remember seeing the first Ghostbusters movie. It's the first movie I ever saw on the big screen. I can't imagine not going to see this in theaters.
Saw the film today, here in UK. No spoilers don’t worry. Was so emotional. But the thing that got me more emotional was seeing ECTO 1 out and about and in full ghostbusting mode. Harold Ramis that film was for you x
@@cyrustvirus1224 the actual 'ecto1' car wax towed away rite after the opening of GB2. THIS ecto1 has a Corvette engine in it. The first one was only allowed to do the opening cause of the problems w it. What u saw it doing IT WAS. NY gave them a time limit to shoot. I'm sure the EPA wax on hand 💖🌹
I teared up too Ernie when you guy's scene happened at the end. Just seeing you all together again. I was in the air force stationed overseas when I saw Ghostbusters in 1985 via film projector at our base rec center.
It was fantastic watching this in IMAX for the Early Access. Going to see it again in Dolby (with the nicer reclining seats). Stay for the mid- and post-credit scenes.
Just watched it at the cinema and omg talk about emotional, I won't ruin it but if you love the original you'll love this, I had to literally fight the tears jeez just unexpected
I hate how Hudson was treated in the movies, gave him a smaller role than what was offered to Eddie Murphy but glad the movie got made.....also 8,516 backs for the Haslab Proton Pack, come on peeps we can do this....
I love Ernie Hudson, dude is dear to me especially after The Crow. Eddie was such a massive freak show star back then they’d cut back that role for a ton of awesome talented actors. It was Eddie’s huge rising star making that role so big originally. I’ll always love Winston he was the man’s man.
The pack is funded, so, we did it already. Stretch goals would be nice though. Yep, star power defines how you get paid in a movie and how big a role you get. Why wouldn't it? Eddie would bring in more fans than the unknown Ernie. Ivan Reitman wanted the well-known stars to get more dialogue in the move.
Would love to have that movie show up on Christmas Day on HBO just like they did like the original. To this day my friends don’t believe the original was shown on HBO on Christmas Day!
I wish they put in a scene where muncher came back and hugged lucky and then Ernie would say that looks like someone we know (slimer) and he would say daughter
I saw the movie last night here in the UK thanks to Sky TV, believe me it has truly been worth the 30 year wait for this movie, all I will say is that it was everything I expected and more….. oh and when you go to see it……. Bring tissues, if you think you teared up when you saw the final trailer….. you ain’t cried enough yet
@@KW-ro5ow Paul Rudd was great, he was fun and fatherly and romantic and funny and it was in good measure not over the top or cheesy, he fitted in well with the cast
And here i am in Australia and have to wait to 1st Jan..........................how am i gonna try and stay away from all the spoilers....should of been a world wide release for a huge movie like this.
@@thesneakertifosi Cheers mate 👍 I'll try & stay strong but it'll be difficult avoiding spoilers. At least I know what I'll be doing New Years Day haha 😄
If the cinemas were open her where I live would be great to see in cinema but I don’t have that chance 😭😭😭😭😭😭 I guess I just got to wait another year for it to be out on mainstream media 😱😱😱😱😱😡
My comment is to images seen in this video (not the movie, not seen yet): the windows of the car are wrong! the original one had windows with 3 horizontal stripes: black-clear-black :-O
Remember though that they are the original SNL stars. All those legends from the 90, 80s and way before that are the last of the true comedy and acting talents. Nowadays they need to invite talentless guest on SNL like Pete Davidson or wtv his name is and others who aren't even comedians. Who are mostly ticktokers who try hard. It doesn't come natural like these guys anymore. Respect to all of the talents like the original Ghostbusters.
