That's a very cool build! There's a similar one here in England and it I last saw it being used as a hearse for someone who was a huge Ghostbusters fan. What a cool last ride :)
was unaware of the 390 cadallac . when you said 390 my brain was thinking of the 2000s 6.0 361. such an awesome build . would be a dangerous car for a hoarder.
Hearing it had a 3-speed reminded me... The Chevrolet C1500 454SS initially came with a 3-speed auto 3 decades later. 😂 GM just refused to move forward.
Watching you work through the review was the best part. Since that siren down't sound like L.E.O. type, I assume it would be totally OK to play with it on the roads, yes? One way to find out!!

Nice build. The factory placement of some of those controls is questionable but that's just how they did things. The guy down the street from me showed up tonight with his almost exact Ecto-1 replica and went tearing around the neighborhood with lights and sirens blasting. The movie car is a 1959 Cadillac with a Miller-Meteor body, my neighbor's is a 1960 Cadillac with a Eureka body because good luck finding anything from that era. His is a little dirty but other than that the lightbars and roof equipment is just about movie accurate. He always looks like he's having a blast and that's what counts.
They did an amazing job!! It’s a wonderful tribute. It’s almost like if they added to the fleet, this is what it would’ve looked like. Love when people get their grails!
I'm not as much a fan of the rusted look. Unless it's meant as homage as being incomparable to the real one. Still the overhead lights, logo and seats do look cool. Be funny if this one you conveniently "forgot" to do the bottle test in the euphoria of the moment..
Because this one is based off the movie Ghostbusters Afterlife where they bring the Ecto 1 back to life after spending it's days inside of a barn. I think it came out in 2017 not entirely sure.
