When the movie came out, my girlfriend and I went to see it and since we loved the original Ghostbusters movies, we thought with the negative reviews and controversy. We went to see it and at the end we both thought the same feeling. For us the movie didn’t give us a spark for the old series. There was no mention of the old ghostbusters team and little humor and my girlfriend was mostly bored during the movie but it was good to see it.

This "actress" is so in DENIAL for saying something like that, oh well, somebody please tell her and the rest of those "actresses", specially melissa mccarthy, that the REAL ecto-1 and the REAL Ghostbusters have come back with Ghostbusters 3 afterlife, I just saw Ghostbusters 3 afterlife and I'm sooooo happy that they didn't acknowledge and mentioned absolutely nothing about that 2016 garbage in GB3 afterlife, like that 2016 garbage never existed lol

Fun Fact: That car was manufactured in 1984. The original Ghostbusters came out in 1984. Maybe this was Paul Feigue's twisted way of trying to make a nod to the original. Did it work? Maybe. But that's my opinion. Before anyone lashed out at ME, just remember they're called opinions, and, yes, this is a free country. We're allowed our own opinions. And my opinion on this movie was this: I really enjoyed it. Gonna buy it on DVD and sit it next to GB2.

There are several things about the ECTO-0 I don't mind. I like the car. I hate how they made it look. The killer for me are 3 things. A modern red&blue lightbar on the back. The horrible siren. And that big stupid yellow dome light they stuck on the roof.

Of course everyone is entitled to an opinion about a movie, but I hated the way the media accused Ghostbusters fans of bigotry and sexism for hating the movie, just like Paul Feig, Melissa McCarthy and Leslie Jones did.

I know this comment is five months old, and I understand that everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but I just wanted to put this out there, and say that a lot of fans, including myself would say that you are wrong and that you can't just take any similar-looking vehicle, slap a white and red paint job, and assortment of stickers and accessories and call it the Ecto-1. Nothing beats the original. I know that they were trying to go for a more newer and more modern look to the original vehicle, but it could never live up to the 59' Cadillac Miller-Meteor. And now, even Warner Bros. saw how fans were displeased with the redesign of the Ecto-1 (and the whole movie in general), and brought back the original in the upcoming Afterlife movie. Sorry if I'm ranting too much, but I just wanted to put this out there.

You know there's just something special about a movie with it's own iconic feels, props, cast, and vehicles... This ain't that kind of movie. This was straight trash to the burn pile. Something that should never have been released. I could understand if they wanted to pay homage to the original movies, and use the real Ecto 1 after they meet the original Ghostsbusters, but to do the whole franchise dirty like they did, that piece of junk of a vehicle doesn't even deserve the honor and respect that comes with the name of Ecto 1.

I'm gonna say it, im not a big fan of the movie but... -I love both the fonal battle & subway scene, And -I love the ecto -1 Don't get me wrong I love the oeigional (aswell as ecto-1b from the 2009? game) but this strangley apeals to me a little more, plus the effects and cgi are pretty good for 2016 but non the less, the movie has (Many, many-ish) bad moments but it has (3-4 good moments)

I honestly dont think this Ecto-1 is bad, just feels a bit.... tame? We've seen how wild Holtzmann gets, creative-wise, I kinda feel like she'd have kept adding to it and made it look weirder. Anyone remember the Extreme Ghostbuster's Ecto-1? With the huge chunky bumpers and bullbars and winch and lighting frame? Kinda feels like we should have had that. I know at the end the car gets destroyed, and I'm glad they didnt use the '59 Ambulance for that exact reason, but the car felt bizarrely tame.

I like Ghostbusters 1,2,and the 2016 version but the 2021 afterlife Ghostbusters is stupid also the 2021 so call Ghostbusters are stupid I personally prefer 1,2, and 2016 Ghostbusters all the way
