Ghostbusters Multiplayer Gameplay 

I just got this game a few weeks ago for the PS3 at a flea market. Such a shame the multiplayer is gone.

After awhile it does get that way. It could've been so much better but this is better than nothing.

I really want to give the multiplayer a shot. Just bought the game a little more than a week ago and am really enjoying the campaign. Hopefully I'll be able to find a match or two.

Actually the servers to the game for Xbox360 owners will remain open. It was the PS3 versions which will close.

I know, I have a PS3. :(

do you have to actually invite people to play, or can you just join a random game?

There is no way to invite people in which is very sad. The game is fantastic but sadly, the multiplayer is not well made and this was due to that part of the game being made by Threewave. There is no way to invite people in and if you create a room, you just have to hope that your friend finds you quick before the room fills up. You can join a random game though. Unfortunately there isn't many people on it anymore. Its mostly a hit or miss throughout the day.

I hate Atari :( I'm not buying anymore of their products unless they reopen the servers
