This was my favourite one! I was always so impressed by the physics of how the balls naturally bounced around, and with the colours and sound effects it was so satisfying to watch each ball find its place as the screen slowly filled up. I could watch it for hours!
Uhm, that's not She-Ra, but it looks like Jem, from Jem and the Holograms, also an '80s cartoon! But I think the anouncer says she's "Shanna". She-Ra was a spin-off of He-Man (his sister). Boy, do I miss the '80s...!
This video features the same song as it appeared in two different cartoons. The first, the one with the woman with white hair and animal prints, is from The Real Ghostbusters, and she's the guest villain of the episode Shanna, a modern-day banshee who's also a rock star. The second one with the male voice is the song as it was used in the closing credits of the She-Ra cartoon.
This is like "Breaking The Ice" by Martha Wash (The Weather Girls) in "Gung-Ho"... or "I Just Wanna Be Loved By You" by Ladyfire: Songs that got bought for use in a movie--or the like--that were potential hits, but got lost/overlooked within the production somehow, due to edited used for a brief scene or un-credited within them, instead of published & released. It's a shame, because they would've gone gold! ;D
"I Just Wanna Be Loved By You" actually did get released on the Spaceballs soundtrack album, so it's not completely unknown - it's the very last track.
As she was shown one of the biggest female Rock'N'Roll, so in real world our biggest badazz female star is Joan Jett, her tracks are enchanted too..her songs thumps our heart and soul then we can't do anything but only enjoy and get lost in her tunes!
O M G ! I'v been searching for years for this screensaver. Don't know what has changed from my google Queries that finally brought me to this video. First I thought it was part of the Plus! expansion of Windows 95. No luck. Now seeing AfterDark (i dont know how that piece of software came into our house, i guess most probably PC Magazines...) it unlocks a lot of memories! Thanks for uploading.
This short song will get stuck in your head, as you can't help but wonder what did the Irish pop star do wrong in her life among the living to become a banshee?
I've been looking for this song from my childhood & it's not even around anymore & the 80's The Real Ghostbusters Version isn't available to buy. I didn't even know the song is really called "Love on the Street" & not really Love Makes Me Live.
I recently got a June Test Release copy of Windows 95 off ebay and both my Special Edition copy of 95 and that one, as well as a Windows 95 with Plus CD I have all lack a lot of Windows 95 promo stuff I find on RU-vid (including this one, which I've only seen with minor variations in visuals and African styled music). There's a lot of promos that are only on certain versions of 95, it's weird. Here's a link to the music used in this btw: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-96CKGE1r7Nw.html
"Hello, I'm Dr. Egon Spengler, and you aren't watching this raucous, overblown spectacle. It's totally in the banshee-riddled mind of my colleague, here. Um, thank you."
Nice to see that I wasn't the only one obsessed over this song for so many years. The melody of this also appears during one of the fighting scenes in an episode of Macron 1 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7PMGEbtNo80.html
You can't. Its long gone. Last I heard was Sierra owns the rights and has it in their archives. I happen to have the original CDs for it and installed these on an Virtual Machine running Windows 95.
Got some internet issues and could not check it before, but wow! That's really a funny story. As I said before, too bad we cannot find the song complete in one piece... as I had found Ember (Danny Phantom)'s song and other songs apparently difficult to find.
Yeah sadly most opening songs to most tv shows and cartoons and so forth are rare to get mostly because the they either belong to the studio or the company that is making the show. Saban, unfortunately, is known to be a cheapskate when it comes to spending money. So this song is stuck in limbo until someone discovers it or something. There was a soundtrack released back in the 80s on casette of this cartoon series. Sadly it does not include this song. At least we get to hear the other ones. Thankfully I managed to get it from an Ebay seller.
