Ghostbusters Spooktacular Show | Universal Studios Florida | March 12, 1992 

Wow, just realized this video is now 25 years old!

I wish the people who runs Universal Studios Florida nowadays had still kept the Ghostbusters Spooktacular stage show around to this day, because it's those kind of theme park attractions that today's generations should be enjoying when they and their families go to Universal Studios Florida. They have absolutely no idea what they're missing out on.

This was filmed around the same time I visited Universal Studios when I was 10 years old. I remember this show vividly. It was amazing.

They REPLACED this with SOMETHING ELSE? HOW DARE THEY...?! Now I'll NEVER get to experience it in person...THANKS A LOT, UNIVERSAL STUDIOS. >:( On that note, A HUGE THANKS to the uploader for posting this clip, so that those like myself can see what it was like! From back when the motto of Universal of Studios was "Ride the Movies" where nowadays it should be "Ride the Rollercoasters". Don't get me wrong, I still go there and Islands of Adventure but we have roller coasters in Georgia, I don't need to go to Orlando for those. I really enjoyed the Ghostbusters show and the Alfred Hitchcock Theater.

One of my favorite shows when I was a kid. I remember the 2nd version with Louis Tulley pretty well.

This show shut down weeks before I was born 😭😭😭😭😭😭 They at least paid homage to them with the window of the fire company, which was the entrance of the show made up as the fire house 💞

As would I. I went to USF in 2000...We boarded the Twister ride, and, standing in line, went past a *very familiar* set of doors. You know, I remember 1) when Universal first opened, and 2) when the Ghostbuster show premiered..."Jack and Jill" magazine had a sweepstakes in which the grand prize was a trip there. The full-page ad featured Doc Brown looming over the action, with a smaller pic of the Ghostbusters at lower left.

Video was taken a day before my 2nd b-day, I saw the show in 95 or 96. Got picked to do the pre-show.

I still remember watching this show like it was yesterday, lol.

Was planning to go to Universal that summer but we had a visit from a Hurricane name Andrew well that changed everything!!!

Are they REALLY SAYING "Hip Hip… HORRAY!"? How freaking corny and pathetic was that script? Geez! The special effects were good, utilizing the "Pepper's Ghost" effect amazingly well, and just how it was designed to work for stage productions, but the DIALOG was just downright cringe worthy!
