One more thing that I noticed on the box. The WARNING on the bottom of the front of the box is BOLD and capitalized in the real one and not bold on the fake.
I realize also that when it come to the Funko licensing stamp on the bottom of the foot it never looks good. For the ghost face the boot is also flatter on the bottom for the fake.
Having owned the OG one word Ghostface since it came out (I paid £12 for it) in 2014. It’s crazy to see what it’s worth now especially against the later ghost face pop
Can you do this for other pops . Like The Crow or Billy the puppet from Saw . Is it okay if you don't mind if you have a fake if you just want the Charecter in your collection
I think that there’s two different types of collectors that will give you separate answers on whether or not fakes are acceptable- I SAY collect and buy whatever figures you want, as long as you don’t care it shouldn’t matter! ☺️
@@H1KcollectiblesImho, there is no point for a passionate collector to buy a fake with zero value, just to have the character. They are counterfeit Pops, and when your eyes are trained you immediately notice the differences.
@@Blue_Noah i agree with that statement if the collector wants to sell that pop as real thats when it becomes a problem but like there are some pops i want so bad that if i buy a fake that looks exactly like the real and its staying in my collection i think thats ok. i would also only buy from someone selling marked as fake bc i dont want to support someone trying to scam. thats not ok. but i definitely see where you are coming from 👍
Great tips i got a fake ghostface but that was before i knew about real n fakes haha so i looked up fake ghostface then i knew the M part logo yhe middle is at the bottom n the knife
Hi great video and very informative could I ask my ghost face as all the fings you showed in your video but it as not got the picture of ghost face on the bottom but it as a date stamp is mine fake or real many thanks
The two word ghost face (released one) I believe doesn’t have the ghostface on the bottom but the JJL should say 16 instead of 14! So the 2014 one has the face and the 2016 one doesn’t! - Hope this helps!!
But i didnt know the word ghost face if is space out is fake thanks for the tip i order my pops from the funko app they real their if anybody want to order ima order jason voorhees
I purchased mine from stock x and paid $230 for him and have been on these videos trying to figure out if it’s real because I couldn’t find the numbers on the bottom of the box and just from what I have seen in these vids mine is fake . I’m outside of the 10 days stock x says they would make it right and this is honestly the 1 of 2 funkos I want and I have been trying to get the real one for 2 years now this is the second time I have got a fake one .
Can they make a fake with the bloody pattern on the knife? I always look for the Capital G on the side of the box and this one I’m looking at doesn’t have that special G. I can’t tell if it’s fake and don’t want to risk buying it if it’s fake!
I am so sorry to say this but that’s a very bad fake you got there. I mean, every pop till 2017 I think the bottom was like this. This fake is the worst of every other fake I have seen
