I’ve been disabled in a wheelchair my whole life. I went to Ghostface & Raekwon concert at Sunshine theater in Albuquerque. After the show, he was walking through the crowd, Ghostface stopped and saluted me. May God bless him and his disabled brothers.

This song never mad me sad till my son heard me playin it the other day after watchin the saga & said dad i feel that's how you came up & he was right. I automatically in my head went to those times but reflecting momentarily on those painful years made me immediately see the complete contrast between my life as a child and the lives they have , thank you Jesus that cycle died for they're generation.

The " Family ain't family " part is absolutely true. As kids, our grandparents would hold all of the Christmases, Thanksgiving and birthday parties. We were always close to our Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Then after your grandparents die, the family drifts apart until we all become strangers

I never had a tough life as a child, this song still deeply saddens me, I think about all the other kids that are going through this kind of pain and it really makes me cry. I think about my family who all have good hearts and we’re able to provide us with every one of our needs, I am very grateful not only for my own parents, but the other parents out in this world who would do anything for their childrens safety and are willing to make their lives as happy as imaginable despite all the hardships attempting to prevent that, all the parents that will never give up on their children, the parents that provide as much food as possible for their children. It wasn't really painful. We was too young to know how hard we had it. Not til you grow up and reflect that it hits you and you reminisce. I wouldn't have it other way though. Tough beginnings give you empathy for people in the struggle. That's why I'm a 42 year old white man who don't have a racist bone in my body. In fact it gave me so much love for the black community. Even after finding out we got robbed on Xmas morning. I remember just feeling so bad for my mother. But even after that, moms still managed to find away. RIP Mommy

It’s fair to say that it millions of ppl that can relate to this, Wu Tang is for the children 🫶🏾 We definitely went through everything in this song minus housing trying to throw us out our place my Nana owned her Vanderbelt mobile home. It was raggedy by the the 90s. We definitely had multiple children in one room, living room, boiled water on the stove for baths, used the oven to warm the crib, asked the neighbors for coins, used newspaper. We had a washing machine and everybody knew when it was on bc the trailer rocked from side to side. They painted it pastel pink. My momma left my daddy and he got killed. It’s sad that children men don’t value their mothers like they did back then. And we are the creators and the one left with the responsibility when daddy walks away. I’ll forever Respect Ghost for this one🤞🏾
