Incorrect. Ghost states in his interview with Complex that this song was inspired by his very first girlfriend who broke his heart. It wasn’t RZA’s sister, she came later.

@@williemakeit2346it was about her. They was dating at the time. Her name in his album credits saying he loves her and they had kids together and lived together at the time.

Says he held onto that pain for years before letting it out on this song. Google it. This song was inspired by that situation which happened before RZA’s sister.

His first relationship, he was in his teens and his first child was born out of that when he was only 18 (sun god) back in the 80s. Ghost was definitely not on tour at that time and Wu tang definitely wasn’t thought of yet. At the time of this record in the mid nineties, he was with Shurrie which was his main girl at the time. They lived together and had two kids (actually three but their baby died young) by the time this record (album) came out…… Also, never be the same again is about her as well that came out years later. Which is a softer more mature version of this song. I’ve heard ghost mention this song before taking about it before the complex interview, actually they took the excerpt from Pandora when he did a 25 year segment for “Ironman” and complex took that part out of what he said.
