I use generator hold a lot, currently my mean build is Thrilling Tremors, Grim Embrace, Weave Attunement, Franklin's Demise. What this build does is it combos the very strong anti-item + info around items of Frankie's + Weave with the gen info of Thrilling, AND the combined 6 seconds per Grim with the 16 seconds per Thrilling of Gen hold. Once you get the GrimTremors snowball rolling, the Survivors cannot do much during midgame because every time you hook a fresh person, they now have to deal with 22 seconds of hold on EVERY gen that isn't being worked on, and then once you hook all four they have to deal with the 56 seconds - nearly ONE MINUTE - of hold on everything, and THEN after that they still have to worry about 16 seconds of hold every time you down and pick someone up. And since they have no items due to Franklin's and are avoiding them due to Weave Attunement, they can't even hide from you NOR can they do gens super fast, heal as quickly, stun you with flashlights, read your aura with a key (not that they could anyway), use maps to find boons for boon builds, or even do much. You take away ALL of their power and turn their strongest asset into a liability while also making gens OBNOXIOUSLY HARD to do, plus they can't be mad because you aren't tunnelling OR slugging with this build nearly as much because doing that limits its effectiveness.
@theclaufee I like it when playing survivor cuz it has fine counterplay and yet survivor mains are complaining lmao. Like it literally tells you when your aura is being read and you can just pick up the item again, compared to other builds there's nothing wrong with it
It's funny how Pop and Pain Res are the best gen perks (says Otz and other DbD RU-vidrs), while I notice a ton of ppl use Surge and Pain Res instead. Usually on M1 killers.

Nah best counter is just not being dumb. Just pick up your item and place it in a corner map dead zone gg 0 perk needed and you deny half the killer's build
@minatonamikaze6400 yeah that works. But having a constant aura read on the killer is hilarious. It allows for infinites at shack and other main buildings.
@minatonamikaze6400 one thing that I noticed. Is that I faced it in almost every game back-to-back, now suddenly killers are using it less. I got a good game where I ran a Billy on Shack for a minute without picking up Chase.
