Ghostrunner 2 Developers React to 56 Minute Speedrun 

The fact that the dev encourages you to speed run their game is awesome. And now they are getting ideas for the speed runners.

The best thing about this video and GR part 1 video, is getting to hear devlopers perspective towards game and their thoughts in general.

They really did an awesome job on the difficulty too. Its hard and as far as my experience its just as hard as the first one but its a different kind of difficulty that surrounds remembering your tools and learning how to use them, but isnt so hard that you have to be restricted to certain skills and upgrades which is super super nice. This is how a sequel is done. Bigger and better. But doesnt antiquate the first game. Kind of like MGS.

Really enjoyed this developer commentary. GR2 was an awesome game, and it's clear from the commentary that they enjoy both the process of making the game and having speedrunners deconstruct their mechanics. It's nice to see.

Super cool to see that the devs seem to have specifically considered speedrunners when making the game.

Always mad respect to the devs when they see players play the game in the best way or method that suits them. Rather its normally fir the full experience or finding exploits that make it possible to break for speed runs.

the worm boss fight is actually much harder when using the acceleration tap trick just due to timings and wacky collisions, by far the most frustrating part for speedrunners. Sometimes you go so fast at the very last part that you can't shoot the worm heart just because the impact of landing the bike sends your gun too low
