Probably one of the best commentaries ever done - I learned more about Ghosts 'n Goblins watching this run than in the many years I've attempted to play it.

I was wondering when he would GET THE KNIFE.

Damn this guy has some serious strongth at this game.

I can barely reach Stage 2 normally, but this guy can beat the entire game in 20 minutes

Seeing one of the most difficult games I'd ever played so "easily" taken down makes me want to replay this game. I'll probably still throw the controller in a fit of rage. Nice job!

I don't know how you get that damage boost through the devil on that last ladder leading up to the 2 satans. This part is so freaking hard!

its pretty interesting to watch a speedrun of a game you've beaten recently.. so much of what he is saying is stuff i didn't think about and also seems like speedrun specific.. like using the torch so much while it does have a nice arc.. people like me miss too much so it winds up feeling like one of the worst weapons. so it's interesting that he will pick those over the knife. that shortcut on level 2 would of been nice to know as well.. but i probably won't be coming back to this game any time soon lol

What a ridiculous run. Reminds me why I'll never try this game again. This is the only Nes game I could never beat. And it wasn't even close.

Did they explain anywhere in the game or manual that the bosses are resistant to certain weapons?? I actually beat GnG as a kid once (and only once), and I had no idea about the weapon immunity. No wonder the difficulty of those fights seemed so unpredictable.

6:50 takes 8 hits to kill but saw it in slower playback speed and it looked like 10 not 8 js but it’s amazing how you do this. I am nowhere near this lol

Games difficulty is a little hyped. Practice it for a few weeks and you should be able to beat it, especially if you know where the hidden armor spawns.
