doing all this would be killer, but requires a budget. our budget from the label for this video: exactly $0. luckily these guys volunteered to shoot something for us, which is better than nothing. if we get a budget, then we'll bring on the saloons and crows for sure!
It's definitely stripped down to it's barest elements. Nothin' fancy, no men dressing like women, and no fancy lead guitar solos! This is a music genre that's definitive, and refreshingly dark to listen to...and to lust after! It's the perfect mix of Country and Rock...and it's spooky, too! You can just feel the fear, the mis-guided "Religious oppression", and the ultimate punishment of the False Prophet/Preacher, when that big ol' cross smashes his skull, ending his miserable existence, once and for all! All of this...while Death itself watches the entire scenario unfold right before his very eyes... making it all too easy for him to take the souls of the slain shown here. I love it! Bury them deep!!!
Bury them deep that's what i said Time to play your dead man's hand Dealin bullets is like dealin cards When it all comes down to a draw Wind in my face i feel the burn Dust drinks the blood of their tears I say goodbye but it don't mean much When shots ring like hits of a drum Bury them deep that's what i said Lay your body down on the sand When it's all said and done It's just a price i work to earn It's just a price i work to earn Hot sun glares down on the street Silence as deep as a colorado gorge Don't care where you been or where you come from It's just my job that has to be done Wind in my face i love the burn Dust drinks the blood of their tears I say goodbye but it don't mean much When shots ring like hits of a drum Bury them deep Bury them deep Bury them deep And they won't come back haunt Bury them deep Bury them deep Bury them deep And they won't come back haunt your soul like they do mine Bury them deep Bury them deep This town crawls with beggers and thieves Come to bite the hand that feeds

This was the track that first turned me on to them. So many influences, yet totally unique. Keep the music coming, guys! (and the cool-ass tee-shirts--ha ha!!)
I like this group that I discovered on the title drink a verse with the living dead, I'm very vinyl and so when they released in this format "curse of eldorado" I jumped at the chance and I Well, I subscribed and there they come out for pre-order bury them deep, well I ordered it on vinyl and I'm looking forward to it. THANK YOU GHOULTOWN. Too bad, the others cannot be found on vinyl ... sold out. A Frenchman who adores you.
Such an underrated amazing song. IMHO your 3rd best in the Catalog behind only Black on Black & After 2. I made a Hunt: Showdown Radio playlist today & you were the 3rd favorite for it behind only Johnny Cash Himself & Stevie Ray Vaughan the Great. Your group is keeping the Western Blues Rock flame alive. Good Luck, pardners.
Hope you guys are still around to read this. This is a very good video, by the way. The looks on your faces and your vibe says it all. Hell, some of the saloons I've played were as bare bones as this room you're playing. Timmy might say, well, where's the audience, then? They're there, there in the smoke at the edge of your vision. Great band.
I'd like to see Ghoultown play in the middle of the street in downtown New Orleans I would drive from Winston-Salem NC all the way there in my hearse to see this.
Boot kickin, ball scratchin, beer drinking, cactus back scratching, six shootin, Mother of a Hombre, wiskey drinking...ok I just ran out of rhymes. But you partners get the message ;-)
