WoW! The rain effect is pretty cool! I must say the dialogue gets better with every new video you produce, awesome work! The only problem with water and rain is the figures don't look wet, I had a similar problem with a request a friend ask me to do. He had some 1/35th scale US troops in rain gear and asked me to paint them for him. I was never happy with the results because they either looked like they were covered in slime or a clear coat was spotty.....sigh.... I did manage something that looked ok to me, my buddy thought they were awesome so. The water/rain is a hard one to create and look good on the figures. The effect is awesome though, Awesome work Robert!
Thanks Tim, I usually don't use clear coats to simulate wet effect. I use color for that (i.e. color of a particular fabric when it's wet) and avoid matte finishes. I could spray my figures with water from a sprayer bottle if I was doing this for TV but it is my personal collection so it's not very practical to go that far.
@@MacSOGAdventureInternational I agree, I had a crazy idea about using my sons water proof gopro camera in the kids pool to take some shots of Joe in his deep sea diving gear but.... Its my original from when I was kid and well Joe just got a new arm and new string...that idea got thrown out...Lol
Awesome brother I appreciate and enjoy your video God bless you and your family hope you guys are doing awesome 👍👍👍 God bless GI Joe Eddie epic adventurer over and out
@@MacSOGAdventureInternational the size has a lot to do with the quality of the forced perspective I think. You don’t cut any corners where it counts. I just needed to know where to look.
It's too bad Hasbro never had the imagination to do it back in the day. It wasn't like the concept wasn't around at the time. I mean look at the movies that was out at the time like The Valley of Gwanji and all the Doug Mclure films.
