The masterpiece edition action soldier was actually the first one I got and that set off a spark that made me want to get the originals. Now I've got an issue with buying the joe's and gear for cheap when I get the chance

Awesome video man! Did you buy this in 2000? Your making me really think about getting some of these original joes. I only have one reproduction from the early 00s and I haven't seen it since I packed it away in storage in 2006. It wss smaller package then this and it didn't have rhe embroidered MASTERPIECE logo on it. Nor did It have any flocked hair like the 1975 type versions. I'll have to look for it. Here's something I picked up in the review. I think without explaining the height of these figures, showing all 4 at the end and using a Gentle Giant OVERSIZED ARAH Grunt, it may confuse some ppl that this is a very small action figure. That said I been looking for a review on the OVERSIZED G.G. GIJOE to see how they are outside of packaging and the articulation ect. Do you hsve any reviews that I could watch of those? I do have some of these reproduction gi joes sealed but this one I bought at a local vintage toy shop the week I did the review. I did a review on every single JUMBO GI Joe they made, actually I'm the only one who did aside from a couple of reviewers who did a review of just one of them. BTW brotatochip you can call me Peter:D
All of these masterpiece Joes all developed stress cracks everywhere after just a few months of having them. Very disappointing if you got all 4 services.
No, not from play, from simply displaying them on a shelf. Undress that action soldier and see what you find. I believe those masterpieces editions with the book came out in 1996 and they were made in China. Like everything I know, but somehow the plastic formula they used to produce them was cheap. I had a masterpiece edition astronaut that was packaged exactly like your soldier and it had stress cracks on the arms and back.
