I think a lot of what contributes to his great sound and speed is he is a master of letting the sticks come off of the head themselves ie freestroke, Gladstone whatever you will. Seems simple in theory but a lot of very decent players still waste energy pulling that stick back up a lot of the time. Hard technique to truly master. Well done 👍
