@BLOOD ROSE They are not warm blood creatures.... they cold-blooded invertebrates. What utter BS. the idea is the more food available the larger the animal... Tropics are the only place in the world with constant supply of food 12 months of the year. which is one of the reasons why many insects and trees become big. Example. Tropical centipede(Scolopendra gigantea) reaching upto 30 cm or more, Kapok tree (Ceiba pentandra) that can grow upto 73 meters tall, there are no trees going higher that 30 - 40 meters in colder climates. and if we go by your logic how does height is determined by the climate ? given the scarcity of food in cold ? given fridge is a recent phenomenon, and you can live on pickled vegetables and sauerkraut. Humans are the only species who is not from this earth even though we live on this earth. Not a single mammal have young ones cared for by their parents like humans. All mammals give birth and baby start walking compared to humans who are defenseless when they are born.
