Happy Sunday Cannons', Those salads looked good AF! Gave me inspiration for this upcoming week to help me stay on track so thank you. I worked at the customer service counter in the grocery store. Here in Canada you better make sure you are 1000% (yes I said it) certain you want that product there's no refund. That goes for the lottery (once I scan it, cigarettes, beer/wine, and dairy (milk, cheese products). That's the law not a store policy. Now what AJ was speaking of goes to common sense with my expertise and experience at the counter a manager cannot override and give him a refund. Clearly there was a faulty product and it has to be returned to the company and the rest has to be taken off the shelf. In that case (for my store) the OWNER makes the decision to give him a refund because our grocery store even though it was a chain the owner was a proprietor so it was named after him. For example Kroger Smith and Rogers. I don't know why people act dense and take their job so seriously whenever I come across an issue like that I would call the owner on his line in the office, explain the situation to him and he'd gladly come downstairs and satisfy the customer's needs then sign off on my records. Customer service then I always looked good for following protocols and going above and beyond. No need for arguments, attitude and setting up a stank face. Just wanted to share that.
