Thank you for your comment jerramy. It is a very small oven so when I finish cooking I take a bowl with hot water and a little bit of dish soap and a sponge and clean it :)

I made this. Added some oregano and spr bled with crumbled feta. Voted make again by family. Thanks. SERVED WITH LEMONY BAKED potatoes and blanched green beans. What do you serve it with.

Malcolm Lewis hello:) in Greece we usually eat it with a Greek salad or on its own with bread. Some like it with sausages too. I like it a lot with red pepper too (not chilli, a special kind called here Florinis pepper) either along with carrots as its cooked or separately as a salad with e.v.o.o, lemon juice and salt

Malcolm Lewis well if you like this you will also like beans based salad .You boil black eyed peas let them cool and throw them into a bowl .add lemon juice lettuce onions some salt and pepper and a little bit of garlic if you want to and they are ready.

Get a Loaf of Fresh French Bread & Slice it up, Spread This Bean Mixture on Top & Then Fresh Feta or Chevre if Available...One Awesome Sandwich :=)P

Brine your beans: 3 Tablespoons of salt 1 Quart of water (soak overnight or at least 8 hours) It makes the beans creamy.

We always brine dry beans, otherwise you can't use them. Another way if you forget to brine them is: You put them in cold water until they come to a boil, then you turn the heat off, you cover the pot with it's lid and you leave the beans for an hour in there. After this you can start cooking them ;)

I soaked by beans overnight with salt and they all split in half and the skins all came off. Am I doing something wrong? I used cold water.

You brine your beans only in water.Salt does this to beans

Copy comment: Cooks Illustrated (yet again) debunked this. As with potatoes, you need to add the salt in order for the beans to be fully flavored.
