Okay...I'm not sure how the top was connected to the legs, but for the rest...not a single screw was used...Now that's what you call carpentry. Absolutely STUNNING!!!
This table arrived well packaged and on time. ru-vid.comUgkxn94T8Mu1iMnsLCMNOI9srXSsLkI4JXKW Like another reviewer advised, I pulled everything out and made sure everything was included (everything was!). I built it alone and it took me about an hour. The color is great and for the price the lift part works well. As others have mentioned, it’s not the smoothest opening/closing, but it works. The screws do show, but I plan to order white sticker covers if that bothers us too much. Really happy with this table! UPDATE: it’s been over a year since we got this coffee table and we still love it! It gets HEAVY use as our dining table, foot rest, and school desk. Over time, the opening and closing mechanism has gotten smoother. I added a new photo with the white screw cover stickers. They blend in perfectly and make it look a little cleaner. 100% recommend!!!
@@dustylumberco your work and craftsmanship are amazing, could you please tell me how much is cost.... Such a beautiful coffee table let's say with walnut and oak materials. 🔥🔥🔥🙏🙏🙏
Having built / worked at a custom cabinet shop right out of high school...I'm telling ya this guy is a MASTER!! Wow and does he have some very slick equipment!!! Bravo
Nice work... I am now retired after 38 years in the remodeling trade... I appreciate your diligence on hiding all your fasteners... great job Also, you have some very impressive equipment/tools Keep up the good work
"My clients don't always request a comically overbuilt coffee table, but when they do, they're going to get a comically overbuilt coffee table." - this guy
Well, someone said: the tools don't make the carpenter! But I'm sure that you would make that same with hand tools! You are the best! Greetings from Wyoming “the eternal winter land“
I’m really enjoying your videos. I have a question. How do you clean up the glue that squeezes out so that it doesn’t affect your stain or varnish? I’d love to see a video, even a short, explaining that part of wood working. Thank you!
So much so, that I've I've looking at plans for light "modern" builds, and working on how to turn them into monsters. The world needs more heirloom pieces that will last for generations.
Title is spot on. A massive coffee table. Until the reveal I was thinking it was for a bar where people might be inclined to dance on the tables. It looks great in that large living room!
Fabulous work! But then that’s ‘standard’ practise for you it seems 👍🏻 Love the videos you put out. Thank you for sharing your experience and expertise. Keep up the great work 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Привет из России! Ваши видео смотреть одно удовольствие, сам тружусь в похожей сфере! Подписка однозначно! Арсенал инструмента впечатляет, думаю, подобные вложения долго окупаются!
Man I've been getting into work working at home actually built up a nice shop so far. The equipment you have is my dream one day and your knowledge as well. I've been watching all of you shorts and am hooked lol. Thanks for the content and for sharing your knowledge and skills! PS - these are so freakin satisfying haha
Watching your videos for a year now. Can (blacktail studios), essential craftsman, JSK/japan and you are on RU-vid the rock stars of our time. Love your demonstration (sometimes in the same video) to achieve same joints with different techniques. The inspiration and passion are awesome. Your collaboration with Festool amazing. Try to keep up the quality, but take care of your health, sometimes the amount of content makes me wonder how do you manage this quantity in this quality. Love and greetings from Germany ❤
First of all great piece! Love the bulkiness of it. Two questions: 1) what is the benefit of the shaper vs a table saw 2) do you think seasonal wood movement will be an issue? Thanks!
Such a joy to see the beautiful outcome of your work! I do like to hear the commentary through the build as well! Keep up the amazing work. We love it!
Heavily reinforced coffee table to last for centuries ! Amazing job , well done ! The only problem I found about it is that the table needs 4 men to be moved every time you want to clean the rug ! Otherwise it's awesome
When I first saw the layout of the “band board” section, I wasn’t a fan. But after assembly, I can see the design influence of Frank Lloyd Wright and I really, really like it. Huge fan of his designs and your ultra high quality work! Curious about the method to join the top to the base? What was used? Mechanical fasteners with an expansion contraction method or traditional joinery method that allows for the same movement?
A lovely table and an amazing bit of carpentry. Did you remove the spacers from the horizontals or keep them in there? Im just curious but couldnt see in the video.
I’d love to have all of my furniture made by this man. He is a true craftsman. When you put that much wood together and not have one screw….that is old world craftsmanship in a world of throw it together quick fast and in a hurry
Beautiful art of work love watching all your build! Lot to learn from you, thank you for making this video and sharing your knowledge 👌👌 From Tillamook Oregon 🤙
