I have to tell you...my 3 year old son is OBSESSED with this video! He calls it “Ben’s cookie cake video.” And knows pretty much every word. I surprised him with the ingredients to make it this morning and he was so excited! It was delicious, thank you! He also cut himself a small piece like you do at the end and said he had to show me how soft and delicious it was. 😂

I have made this twice first for my 13 year olds birthday and I was worried I couldn’t do it but it turned out absolutely perfect so I made it again for my 16 year old! It’s so fast and easy and comes out just exactly like the mall ones! Never spending $35 on one again!
Just made this today for my daughters birthday tomorrow and I already know it's going to be really good...after test tasting 😋 would be great if you could put it in grams. When you do 2 3/4 cups as measured in grams, you definitely need more flour. Great recipe!
I'm going to make a chocolate chip cookie cake next week but instead of making it from scratch I'm going to use them vanilla pudding and butterscotch pudding mix half and half yellow box cake sugar-free sugar-free milk chocolate chips, eggs butter lactose free milk, haven't decided on what type of frosting I want.
Hello I just want to tell you how delicious your cookie cake recipe is. I made this today for Father’s Day 😍 I didn’t have the right size pizza pan, so it was a little thicker. But, my husband said he doesn’t want me to change the pan because he likes it thicker and it was way better than Giant Eagle and Walmart! So kudos to you and thank you for sharing this excellent delicious recipe! 🙏🏾😍 FYI: I had so extra cookie dough left over as I made single cookies... they were delicious 😍 For anyone to know this dough makes Yummie Chocolate Chip cookies.

I’ve made this several times, I use all butter though, and turns out awesome every time and I always forget the water. I’m making this again today so I’m gonna try not to forget it! Lol

I fixed this, but it's missing something. Idk maybe butter extract? It's sweet but it's lacking a Lil flavor.....i may substitute the butter shortening for butter next time. But it still turned out so soft and trust me, I'm gonna finish it. 🍪♥️ oh I hv an 💡idea, I can still brush a Lil melted butter on top of my big cookie. 😋
Doing it👍🏻. I know someone asked already but i didn’t see a reply…how long do you bake for regular chocolate chip cookies? Also read about the water, but recipes always say to mix the dry ingredients with the flour. You did not, is there a reason for that ? Just curious, and thanks for the recipe
@@AnoushkaMehta-s2x you could divide the dough in half and freeze one half for later and use the other half for a smaller cookie. This recipe also makes great individual cookies.

You can try using baking powder instead. Just use the amount of baking powder that it calls for baking soda. I’ve never tested it so not sure how it will turn out.

I used self raising flour, butter, two teaspoons of baking powder and only 140g of chocolate chip cookies . It turned out all in a full chocolate colour without any dough type of colour 😂😅
Interesting.. the recipe I used is in my description box in case you didn’t see it. The self rising flour and butter will definitely change the results of the cookie. Maybe try again and follow my exact recipe. 😊
Mine was sticky too so I put the bowl in the fridge for 15min covered in plastic so it doesnt dry and it came out firm enough to place on the pan. I think it may have to do with the shortening. I left mine at room temperature for an hour and I may have left it out for too long cause the shortening is a lot softer than the butter
You can but it will change the texture of the cookie. The shortening is what gives the cookie is soft texture. Butter will make the cookie have a crispier texture.
I've just made this and it turned out beautifully. 😋 We had a smaller pan but I made up the same recipe and have saved some to freeze down. My son is thrilled with his birthday cookie cake and I am a rubbish Baker so I am very proud!! Thanks for a great video!
It was my brother’s 17th birthday a few days ago and I made this because he’s not a huge cake lover, but he LOVES cookies. I baked it in a cake pan instead, and for a little longer.. it was AMAZING. I used Hershey’s milk and semi-sweet chocolate chips. I was soooo good. I will be making this again. My sister wants this for her birthday, but I’m gonna do it as an ice cream cake version.
