The master of holiday DIY has officially declared the beginning of the Christmas season! And I love it! ❤️ 💚 Isaac, what a fun, unique project to kick off “the hap-happiest season of all”! 🎄 I never would have guessed that the entire mug of hot chocolate was constructed wholly from styrofoam. I loved your technique of chipping away at the styrofoam to make the surface of the hot chocolate look so dang realistic. ☕️ Thanks for getting “the most wonderful time of the year” started with such a wonderful tutorial. I can’t wait to see the next Isaac Alexander DIY Christmas 2022 project! 🎅🏼
Thank you so much Paul. I try to think outside of the box and create things that are unconventional or otherwise different. I do love creating traditional holiday decor but definitely wanted to do something different with this one
Thank you for this! Instead of doing all of that digging and scooping the inside of the mug, I am going to finally use those loose useless blades that come with my hot wire foam cutting knife, make a square and cut and mine out that way.
That's a tall drink of hot cocoa for a tall drink of hot craftsman! Lol, I'm particularly impresses that the cup was carved out rather than some foam wrap around as I would've originally guessed.
Omg 😱 you are amazing designer 👨🎨 I can’t wait to see everything put together and this video just put me in the Christmas mood. Thank you for sharing your stunning hot coco cup with us. Have a wonderful week 😊🧵🪡🤗🤩
I try to think outside of the box, though I love doing traditional designs, I like to challenge myself to see if I can create something that hasn’t been done before. So thank you ☺️
Just came upon your channel today when looking for DIY holiday decor for outdoor use. Although I’m totally new & hesitant about using any power tools, your videos are super helpful & easy to follow for a novice like me. Also wanted to congratulate you on your first book! My kiddos are older now, but would def like to support you so will be purchasing to donate to some of the teacher’s in-class libraries at our local elementary schools this year for Christmas. Again, thanks for the time & effort on the video content. Fingers crossed that mine will turn out as close to yours as possible!
Thank you so much for your kind comment. This is the perfect ending to my day. As someone who only started using power tools about four years ago, I know it may seem daunting at first but one step at a time is all I did. And if you do end up creating any of my tutorials, I’m easy to reach if you need further assistance, you can reach me via direct message on Facebook by looking up my DIY page called “Isaac Alexander DIY“. Lastly, thank you so much for your generous support. I’m so happy that you will be purchasing my book. I appreciate your kindness and goodwill
This should have tens of thousands of likes. You, sir, are a wizard with that styrofoam and your saws. I would never have thought up such a project; it is unbelievably amazing.
So stinkin cute! This is definitely a winner. So very unique. I love the way your brain works. I dub you King of Christmas DIY Outdoor Decor. Thanks again for another inspiring project. Merry Christmas.
I’m in awe to see from the beginning of it to the final look. Absolutely a top tier unique Christmas decor. Alright Tigri, let’s have a cup of hot chocolate to celebrate your project 🎅🏼🎄☕️
I love this. I already made they cotton candy out of spray foam. Everybody loved it and said I was so creative. I told them no Isaac Alexander is creative, I just copied his. I checked market place and craigs list for the foam blocks nothing close enough to Atlantic beach. So I found out this morning there is a tractor supply store right up the road. They gave me some. I am so excited to start working on more stuff to go with my Christmas lights to music display. I am also ordering your book for a gift for my grand kids.
I’m so happy that you got wonderful compliments on the cotton candy. I’m glad I could help and inspire. I’m happy you were able to find the blocks as well. Lastly I wanted to say thank you so much for getting my book! I hope the grandkids like it!
Fantastic, I was thinking on how to make that myself, you bring such good ideas, when I get how teddy bear spa done I will have to let you and everyone see it.
I love this idea! I've used foam board for projects, but when it comes to sculpting 3-D, my brain struggles with how to go about getting the shape. Thank you for including all the details in making the magic from foam blocks! It's something I might actually be able to tackle myself. :)
Wonderful project. This is a great idea for a Christmas parade float. -- And I absolutely covet your Medusa heads by the door! Brightest blessings to you!
Full disclosure: Christmas is not my thing at all. But this is an amazing project. I look forward to all of your Christmas themed videos. I live vicariously through you!
I started watching your videos last year and I love your ideas. So clear and easy to modify if I want. One question: do you have a Cricut? I think you’d find so many uses for it!!! Like your own custom vinyl decals
Awesome tutorial! Can you help in possibly making large ice cream plastic molds and/or Hersey kiss bottles of syrup. I was thinking maybe using empty bottles of detergent myself. Thanks for your great tutorials
Do you have a theme for this year or what are your plans? I’m excited to see your Christmas display this year, it’s been wonderful to see all of your work come together.
Hello Lix! I actually never have a theme for my decorations. I just do what I think will look great and then try to make it cohesive. I will have a candy land and a possible meadow of deers
Omg this came out absolutely awesome! Your projects really impress me! I’m going to have to check this store out! I can’t find any on my local Facebook marketplace.
I love this so much!! ❤ Thanks for sharing your creations! They are so fun & totally different from what you can find in the stores! 👍👍☕ I think the only changes I would do would be to paint the cup handle with white stripes to make it look like a candy cane and maybe do a bunch of mini marshmallows instead of the big ones. 😀
Oh no! That’s honestly the worst. Can’t believe people do that all the time, it’s so horrible. Thank you though for your kind comments about my creativity.
@@IsaacAlexanderDIY thanks !!!! I was actually looking in the trash at the college where I teach for free styrofoam hahahah have a good one thanks for response

#SWOON the most handsome man on RU-vid is back with a new craft! I really like that you are preventing the styrofoam form hitting landfill. You're not only crafty, you're responsible, too. You make it look so dang easy. Thank you for sharing your gifts with us ... #SWOON 🥰🎄✨
Thank you so much Quinn! And yes, all the Styrofoam I use is being prevented from going into landfills. I don’t throw my props away and keep them from year to year
Oh my goodness! I love this so much, I need this too😂 Incredible & looks just perfect. I make the regular size ones for gifts, not sure I'd attempt this one. I'll leave it to you pro 😍
