I'm quite a bit older than you and glad to see someone younger that still sees value in old metal. If I had to pick it would of been the 63 ford galaxy four speed four twenty seven car. I had a few and miss all of them but as favorite cars went, I really liked the 57 ford fairlane tudor as they had the narrow back window pillar. I had one that inherited a large 406 FE engine with four speed and ran at the track. It was light, fast and bullet proof for lesser statements. He must of had a corner on ford vans and chevy corvairs as that actually was a really good engine with other problems that made them not so popular... I owned the spider for a while with a tripower system. No heat tho and washington state in the winter wouldn't fly. Nice job and hope that you continue these walkabouts. I know the in's and out's of most cars shown. That fury looks a lot the one that Scott rebuilt in "Cold War Motors" in canada... check out his channel for a whole different perspective on life terms. That 1963 galaxie has a Low Riser 427 Top / Center Oiler . All 427s were Low Riser Top / Center Oilers until 1965 when the Mid Riser, Side Oiler began production. A High Riser Duel 4 Barrel Side Oiler was available only in the 1966-67 R code Fairlane 500

Gotta love them old cars. Back when you could tell a Dodge from a Chevy from an Oldsmobile from a Ford. Some real nice finds that needed saving. 👍

I like old cars that's unrestored, there's just something about unrestored cars that interest me. The fact they've never been touch since new, makes them more original.

There are a lot of places in Texas that have old places like this as well, so treasure is for the finders. From amazon, car hop trays stay safe.

That crazy Kaiser is one of about 1200 made. It's like a hatchback/ short station wagon sedan. See the big hinge in the center ? The hatch goes up and a truck like / wagon tailgate folds down.

Nice place! It was a real Ford Econoline haven. I would have loved to have gone there as I own a '67 Econoline van that I need another for a few parts. Mine is rare in that it has loading double doors on both side's. Was ordered that way by the American Cancer society. I'm 3rd owner. Good video⚠️

$41,000 is far too much in that galaxies condition . 7 months ago I paid $51,176.81 tax & transport includes for a 37,651 original miles 1963 galaxie 500 427/ Duel 4 Barrel / 4 speed survivor. That looks brand new. They are out there .

A lot of those cars went for a lot of money. I would be curious to see who paid that much for rusted project cars.

Can any of you Lucerne Valley residents answer a question for me? I know that this is about Classic Cars, but I have a friend who lives in California and he has told me about a terrifying snake that is found in the desert, mainly in the LUCERNE VALLEY area called the LEESIE SNAKE. My friend said that the locals live in fear of this HIGHLY venomous and dangerous predator. I have an interest in snakes and other reptiles but I can not find any information on the LEESIE SNAKE. My friend assures me that he isn't playing any jokes on me and that this terrifying creature really does exist. Thanks for any input.

I so hope most of those vehicles got saved. It is better than any art gallery guided tour that I have been on. Each van or car has its own silent tales of happy holidays or an abandoned custom job. My imagination is firing on all cylinders. Sitting here fascinated and nearly an hour has flown by. Thank you -and good luck in all you do.

Haha .about a month ago I was driving home and stopped to help an old man who was stuck on the side of the road in the desert not far from there ... I towed his Silverado about 6 miles with my Matrix in L gear on sandy roads to almost nowhere .. he had about 100 old cars and trucks just like these laying around ..,.baking away in the sun 🌞
