55:30 Funny you should mention that! Back when this event first released, you got Scrap for every fight you won, much like the Scabbards in the Blade Lineage event. Story progression here was actually locked behind certain amounts of Scrap, so back then you actually had to replay these fights a few times to get enough Scrap for the bus upgrades and proceed with the plot.

As you pointed out, the writing is very intentional in framing Ishmael as a jerk so to speak to display the disconnect between her and Dante (or overall Dante's disconnect from the Sinners in general), but it is a great character development set-up for both Ishmael AND Dante later on

I really love that argument scene between Ishmael and Heathcliff, because heathcliff is trying to reassure ishmael but as mentioned he's really bad at it and way too aggressive lmao. the moment he says "I was a fool to think you were any different from me" is so interesting!!! he expected better from her!!! it's also a cool role reversal to how she usually tries to be the voice of reason, and the CGs and voice acting are both absolute peak. the jagged lines and intense emotions are so cool, and I like that ish's shirt is half untucked when she's about to smash heath's head in. just wanted to gush about that scene some 😆😆

from my experience all the Liu's are perfectly serviceable but the funny thing about Liu hong lu is he just objectively does his job better from the bench with his support passive, his job being the count guy, the one who makes sure you don't run out of burn count

I really do personally think that this was a major glow-up for Molar Office. I love their designs here~ Mika looks so cute with the ponytail, Rain looks pretty slick with the jacket and that choker looks great on him, and Olga is a lot cooler here compared to just a plain old short in her old look. Anyways, that argument between Heath and Ish is always so nice to revisit. The line deliveries are so good, their VAs did great work~

Yeah, Liu Faust and Yi Sang don't exist yet. Some Identities of Sinners that show up in the Identity Arts of other Sinners don't exist. Some of them, we can guess are inevitable (like Don in the background of Rabbit Heath's pre-uptie art), but some others we surmise won't exist at all because of the window of time they could potential appear in being passed (an example would be in some Canto Character/Faction specific Identities, like the Rosespanners, who, despite having Don in one of the arts, never received a Don Rosespanner ID back when Canto 4 was being released, and you know what happened to the Rosespanners)

I mean I guess the final boss of the section can be a real pain if you just aren't thinking/prepared the first go around... Now mid to late canto 5 and all of canto 6, though...

Have been dying to see your reaction to this one, especially since it seems like you managed to not get spoiled about it surprisingly. Seeing the Molar crew show up was such a nice surprise, Mika's new look is absolutely adorable too, Olga gets cuter too. Also, you're not the only person to find Ishmael during this insufferable, lots of people apparently did as well. It felt like you were channeling your inner Heathcliff even as scenes progressed lol. Ishmael's just incredibly rational, practically obsessively so. So her suddenly finding out it's her 'turn' next, she starts freaking out because the crew's not prepared for a 'Journey across the Great Lakes'. And when trying to convince to come back after preparing, she turns all doom & gloom from the rejection. Buggering all hell out of Heathcliff in the process. I could go on about Ishmael, her dynamics with Heathcliff and the other sinner's developments and growths come this intermission and the next canto. Love the little notes too, Yi sang doesn't want to see his friends fighting each other anymore, let him volley the balls. Very excited, hope you manage to build up your Liu team when possible, exp tickets are honestly the worse resource to deal with, hope the passive exp gain from being benched helps lessen that pain.

I do love my burn lineup, but you REALLY need Magic Bullet Outis to make the damage stack up to the other debuff types and they are just not good until they hit max sanity. Their team technically has access to every Sin Affinity as well, but you have to give up either one affinity or a good character to pull that off.

lol, this interlude, I recall so many people getting upset that the "beach episode/summer update" didn't have a sexy swimsuit ID, when uh, project moon doesn't really do much of that, plus considering this takes place on a horrid mud flat with giant trash covered mutant crabs, yeah, no wonder we didn't get anything like that

Tbh I didnt find Canto V particularly difficult except for a few fights.

Considering all the new IDs being released, you may want to go for a sinking team for chapter 6 whenever you get to it lol. on another note, be prepared to bring whoever the character the canto is based around into missions from here on, the game will NOT give you a choice in the matter at times.

I can assure you it will be Canto 5, specifically 2 fights in the Canto, everything else has been pretty easy but thoes fights might be a few restarts

Nah its not till halfway through the next canto at most, in terms of difficulty. but you also are very literate compared to the average pm fan so it may not even be that bad.

Manager Esquire, you should know by now that PM don´t just make idle references, everything is cannon and has a purpose to the story and lore, from the UI to the game mechanics EVERYTHING is cannon. 41:45 funny you mention that, we did indeed already know that people are returning from the library from Leviathan, and why Vergilius is so interested in it, "Merry Christmas" Canto 5 will absolutely give you trouble, i used a near-meta team and still struggled in the dungeon, so i really wouldn´t recommend using up all of your limited resources on not very good IDs, but if you so desire to struggle, Manager Esquire, it is not my place to stand in your way, i will simply wish you luck.

foreman, mirror worlds and mirror dungeons are two different things, mirror worlds are the world from the mirror AKA. the place the IDs come from, like the world of N corp or the world of Liu Association

Unfortunately, we do not currently have Liu Faust and Yi Sang just yet. We will certainly get them eventually...

If I remember correctly the Purple tear also appeared at the beggining of the Leviathan even though it took place after the Library and I think there was explained that ppl from the books just spawned in random places in the city after the Library was done

UT4 Shi Heathcliff is pretty good actually. I've seen people speedrunning MDs with Shi IDs by intentionally losing 50% HP and then just pressing winrate through the dungeon, especially with Heath hitting 2 targets with his Skill 3. And the crab theme is indeed banging. The boss theme at the end is one of my favorite soundtracks in this game.

From my experience Canto 5 is pretty easy except for THE fight with the aniki

People tend to overestimate a lot of limbus content they are used to big clash number=win which PM are slowly shifting away from as of this current canto 6 and it already caused a lot of complains actually. i am curious how you will handle it but even with good rolls it will become actually a bit tight . hell the current canto actually made me consider team combos as they are necessary and it might make you consider using a support unit aswell but will see. perhaps people will bich about it enough so they nerf the current fights... again.

Foreman, I don't understand why you didn't read leviathan by it's kinda important in canto 6.
