Ben. You did fantastic keeping your cool and allowing it to come back intact. So sorry that it happened but little damage. Such a well built model. We had a great time at BIGFOOT and watching folks like you is such an inspiration to us all. P.S. I was there with you late that evening with Brian and Megan. LOL!! You named the Invader Boogfoot😆. Your Invader is awesome. As belly landings go that was like butter. The combat damage repairs sounds like a great idea. Had an Uncle that worked at Long Beach for many years and a best friend that worked in the publications department for many years and made the transition to Boeing. So the Long Beach plant was a special place for me. Your big Douglas-McDonald Douglas models are so cool. How about a D558-1 or maybe a Sky Shark? Another would be the XB-42 Mixmaster. Someone with your knowledge and skillset, what could possibly go wrong?.… I'll let myself out.

Hi Ben. I really really love your channel. Just wonderful content. Please consider coming to the Joe Nall event in May 2024. It would be awesome to see you there especially with those really large planes. I’m one of the volunteers that helps to put on and oversee the community build. We are going to be finishing up a 75% scale Volksplane. And we will raffle off the 75% scale Volksplane ready to fly as well as a 40% scale Volksplane ready to fly. It would be really cool if you came and purchased a ticket and just happened to win both of the planes. They would make great additions to your hangar.

Thank you for your kind words! I would love to attend Nall and bring my giant there, but it greatly depends on personal finances and time, since it happens right between SEFF and Flite Fest, two events I’m already set to attend. I will keep it in mind and talk to my family. 😎👍

Hi Ben, greetings from the uk! with regards to the left cowling, was this maybe pushed upwards and the magnets disloged by the left wheel impacting it on the take off roll when it span off the shaft? The wheel left the shaft and did a bounce and then seemed to flick up? Just a thought Lovely model and I've been watching your channel the last few years, your creations get better and better and we are richer thanks to you sharing the with us. Love it pal. Keep the vids coming please. 😊

What was the purpose of skidding it in? Should have just landed with the gear down. Mainly because it's a foam airplane and those are expensive props.
