Thanks for the video Kevin. I hate wasps! They hurt so bad. I usually put activated charcoal paste on the bites. Pulls out the poison they inject. Good for fiddlebacks and black widows too.?have a great weekend . Love y’all. Blessings from OKC.

Omg my 3-year-old son was on our patio & had something in his mouth. I said Brian, spit it out. Oy, it was a black widow spider egg. 🕷 he thought it was a kix cereal. Thank God it was empty. The empty ones blow all over. I almost had a heart attack! Yikes

A safe wasp trap goes like this-a not too small flatish dish, one full cup of apple cider vinegar, water to bring the level to four-five inch depth, and a squirt of dish soap. It works and it won’t hurt any of the animals

Where I live in Australia it’s cold and very wet with minor and moderate flooding! We seem to he getting all our Winter rain all at once. Plus we have lots of wind and unusually high tides.

You can also use a water and dish soap mixture on any of those flying, sting critters. Just about a teaspoon of any kind of dish soap and fill the bottle, preferably the dish soap bottle, and shake it good then you squeeze that full bottle onto the nest and soak the nest and the wasps or yellow jackets and they suffocate. Safer around your farm animals so they don't ingest that nasty stuff. ALSO if you are stung, take black tea bags and soak them in cool water just long enough that a little bite of tea begins to steep out the squeeze most of the water out and place on the sting sight and tape it in place and leave it for an hour. After an hour, remove and repeat and leave it for another hour. It draws the poison out and helps with the pain and swelling. Old trick my Dad learned in the Marine Corps. You can use it on spider bites and even centipede stings. Even if you are allergic and have to head to the ER, do this cause it will help pull that crap out. I've used it since I was age nine and I'm 66 now and swear by it.

You need to get wasp traps. In Cali they swarming like crazy in this heat. I’ve filled 3 traps already. Got them at Ace. I love Cora’s cream of mushroom coat. Russell is just so handsome.❤. They used to buzz me when I fed my chickens.

I’m so glad you avoided being stung. When my now 30 y/o son was in preschool we went on a hayride and his friend John got stung on the ear. He was sitting in front of me and I tried to flick it off him without freaking out but it got him right before I flicked it off his ear. That’s gotta hurt!! I got stung 2 years ago at the craft store dumpster, on my forearm.😂 that was my 1st wasp sting ever. And I’m in my 50s. I was stung by a yellow jacket on the ankle at age 6. The bush they were in was by the back door. My ankle swelled up. I did get to have the little tv in my bedroom though while I had the ice pack on my ankle. I only got that tv when I was sick. It was usually in my parents’ bedroom. It was 1971 so it was black & white. Lol I have run from bees ever since. 😂 And needless to say, all bushes near a front or back door have been IMMEDIATELY taken out when I moved into a place that had them. 😂 we had them next to the steps to our back porch. Bees loved those bushes. I told my then husband “get em outa here. I don’t care where you put them just get them away from the door”. He was like 🫡 eye eye captain 😂 I warned my current husband when we were dating before we were married about how I hate bees so he took out all the little flowering trees the lady who owned the house before him had planted on the front lawn right next to the driveway and in the yard near the back door because after I told him I was freaked out by bees he got stung ON THE EAR. He didn’t even tell me he was taking them out before he did it. We had just started dating and I had not even been to his house yet. They were all gone before I came over. 😂 We have little bushes that seem to be ok and not attract bees. You can keep the junipers and arborvitae. I don’t want them. 😂

They are bad at my house too. They keep trying to build nests behind my window shutters. I have to walk past them every time I come in or out! Little creeps hurt if they get you. I keep some of that 20’ spray by the door and spray them until they go somewhere else. EVERY SUMMER!!

❤Kevin ,you have to spray in the evening after the wasp have gone into nest, then spray the hell out of the holes of the nest ( take extra cans with you) that is only way to get rid of them...spray posts & all crevies & roof area ,trim, holes , anything & all crevces that may hide one or more wasps...❤

Kevin, you may be dealing with ground Wasps check the ground for small hole

Gosh I'm glad you didn't get stung there Kevin. Wasps are NASTY, vicious creatures! I've seen abandoned and half demolished homes in Ireland and other 'settled' areas with chimneys that looked like that. The old folks used to have woodstoves inside the recess with chimneys that were surrounded by the brickwork (or stonework) of the chimney....I don't know if that was a possibility for your place but that's what I've seen in others. Because the metal stoves were precious they wouldn't be left behind when the family built bigger or shifted elsewhere, but would be taken with them.

My Great grandmother had a 140 year old house that had a stone fireplace and chimney. She had a very heavy cast iron cook stove that sat inside the large cutout of the stone chimney. The old people would take their cast iron stove with them when they built another home or moved. They also lined the chimney with asbestos so that the stones didn't get too hot and break or shatter. Donkeys carry their young for 11 to 14 months. They usually have their young between 12 or 13 months though. Have a wonderful day and God's blessings on you and your family ❤️🙏❤️

Liquid dish soap and water mixed together works great for wasp it kills them fast and not harmful to animals like the wasp spray

Original Bounce Dryer sheets help repel wasps. Im a mail carrier and we put them in mailboxes to keep them from nesting and stinging us when we open them.

I had two little nests of wasps on my porch that kept coming back and I just kept power washing The nest down and that usually killed a couple of them too. But I only do it when I'm leaving the house and don't have to go back in soon.

Kevin I am sure glad you weren't stung. If you spray wasps nest or mud dobber nest don't knock down their nests. They won't build another by it. That's the only way we have been able to keep them from returning. I only use the wasp spray that foams when you spray their nests. Just a few things I have learned. I'm highly allergic to wasps, bees and hornets. It's an ambulance ride and observation until they know that I am able to breathe after being stung. Be safe and careful. As the summer begins to come to a close. Wasps, hornets, and yellow jackets begin to become more aggressive. It seems they're just looking for an excuse to attack.

I closed the gate and got stung by a wasp. I figured they had a nest in one of the bells. I sprayed them and threw away the bells. I love your videos!❤

I keep wasp spray at the front and back door. I even keep one by my bed because it slows down people long enough to get the freedom stick.❤

It must be a banner year for wasps!. I am up in middle Tn getting some work done on one of our rental houses. They are everywhere! The garage doors stirs them up and are up in the ragers and zoom at me every time I go out there. Hot weather seems to bring them out in force. Stay clear as best you can!

Sure glad you were not stung by wasps. When i was a child my parents and close friends and their parents all would go camping. Back then no A/C or seat belts in our vehicles. We had a station wagon which us kids like driving to campground.’One year i got stung by yellow jacket in my neck area. Really hurt and it was very hot in 100’s. Driving on winding road make sick to my stomach. When we arrived at our campsite. Our friend was a native american and she made a mud pack with herbs and packed it good on my neck. It worked well. We enjoyed her lots. She would tells us stories that were handed down to her from her people. We go horse back riding to and run in the woods and creek and fish to. Great memories now treasures. 🤗👍🏻👵🏻
