Giant Lake Trout in Super Shallow Water 

In this very special full-length video Colin McKeown fly fishes for massive Lake Trout in super shallow water in Northern Manitoba. It is early September and the Lake Trout come up from the depths in preparation for spawning. This small window is an anglers opportunity to catch & release Lake Trout over 40 inches in water less than 8 feet deep. In fact Colin's biggest fish was in 3-4 feet of water....incredible!
