I used to have a Schnauzer called Jack and he was a wee warrior When he was elderly (12 years old) a burglar broke into our house and made it all the way into my Mum's room When jack saw the burglar he didn't hesitate, threw himself at the burglar to protect his mum and chased the intruder all the way out of the house I still miss that wee mad lad
Facts!! They are so densely muscled and built for short distance burst and stamina and forget about their jaw strength and crazy bite speed. Mine can jump from standing still to my mid torso and once they have something bitten down on i can pick them up to my hand is paralell with my shoulder and they will still be shaking. The rats,rabbits, squirrels, raccoons ECT do stand a chance around our house. Best breed ever

My mini backed a grown man into a corner in my foyer. I had never heard such a sound come out of any of my schnauzers before, sounded deep and gutteral! RIP Watson, Holmes and Jolly🩶🤍🖤

Bruh I have a 6 month old miniature Schnauzer and he has no fear at all. He runs up to my fence where there is always 3 neighbor dogs chillin and he immediately tries to throw paws. I’m trying to curb his behavior and it’s working but still a slow process. I can only imagine the giant ones lol. They look so badass!
We have a standard schnoodle, he carries all the traits of the schnauzer and when you see him looks cuddly and cute but when you piss him off he becomes the giant schnauzer and will attack anything fearlessly. Great dogs
My male Bouvier took down his 280lb K9 protection trainer. I had to call him back. That’s a great dog right there. God I miss him. Now I have a 90 lb pit who is tight AF if she has to be. That’s impressive. I have always admired Giant Snauzers

Any dog that cannot or does not drop the item once the threat releases it is a easy target. Most cases it’s not a huge deal but the dogs that do are the ones you have to fear. I’ve been around a lot of protection dogs and only two dogs I’ve ever witnessed did so quick and efficiently.

That's a Schnauzer, you don't have to teach them, they already really want to bite stuff, hard, they're pinschers, owners have to give them appropriate outlets, but these are naturally biteful dogs, make no mistake. Please do not own one if u don't understand this about them.
If a real assailant had a bite sleeve wouldn’t a trained dog go for it? And if the dog hits the sleeve on the off hand, the right hand is free to use a weapon. Don’t dogs learn weapon recognition?
They use Standards and more often Giants for police and military work, but with 556psi bite force, injury liability is probably too high for domestic police work. Schnauzers are better for military, hunting, scouting, and personal protection + farm work

Canes are good, a little stronger, but not as smart and definitely more mellow. No one would want to own a Cane Corso that acted like a Schnauzer, that'd be a nightmare, and I'm a Schnauzer guy all day.
That’s not true at all. You can train a dog to be vicious towards specific dangerous people and as quick as a word the dog will know not to attack specific people you like. Dogs are so so so intelligent. And they don’t train them like that… the dog will always be ok with people until you say a word like ‘danger’ ‘bad person’ ‘attack! dangerous person!’ So they won’t attack everybody until you say stop. That’s just dumb. So no. Dogs trained this way will be ok with everybody until you say it’s not ok.
