@@cody1574there’s no way that’s the argument. Seattle had one of the worst defenses and had given up a ton of points by week 4 when the giants played them at home. Giants fans were expecting Seattle to be a winnable game considering the poor defense and were comparing it to Arizona. Jones played well against Arizona on the second half after being awful in the first but this time in Seattle he was awful the whole game and the threw one of the most pathetic pick sixes you could ever think off down on his own goaline to a rookie corner who was able to read him because Jones stared the read down for no reason instead of throwing it to a wide open Darren Waller in the endzone. The giants were in prime position to make the game interesting but instead it’s a touchdown for the defense and that was all she wrote. That is the problem with Jones. You start to think he’s figuring out the defenses and then he makes some of the most head scratching decisions you’d imagine. As a Giants fan that watched Eli as well, it’s hard for me to accept Jones’fault when there’s been little to know reward for the suffering. Eli delivered, Jones has to either play like he did against Minnesota far more regularly against the other defenses in the league or he’s gone. The giants have to know they can’t play 40 million for a qb and not be making playoff appearances yearly.

DJ was HAND PICKED by Mara. Mara will never admit he picked the biggest BUST in Giants history. Actually calling him a BUST is not that accurate, because he was OVERDRAFTED like crazy. Everybody knew DJ SUCKED the second he was picked that high, a fourth round pick QB at best.

While I'm not bought into Jones, the comment is related to the fact that the Giants have had a crummy offensive line and no top receiver. If the line is improved and Nabers is close to the billing we will finally be able to put the argument about Jones to rest one way or another.

I’m sure DJ is a nice guy and all but DJ should give Ed Donatell some of that 40 million. It’s literally the ONLY REASON he got that contract. Most DII QB’s can look like Tom Brady when facing an Ed Donatell coached defense.

Sal - last year you were high on him and said he was your guy. Then he gets hurt because his line is swiss cheese. At the end of the day it don't matter what you think. As a fan I am routing for Daniel Jones because he is our QB and he has a better line and a #1 receiver now. This is his last year make or break and I think you know that. Quit ragging on him, get behind him as a fan and stop trying to make your self relevant.

Everyone’s argument is davito and Tyrod did better under the same circumstances is just complete bs and I’m sick of ppl using it to validate their argument ..saquon and Andrew Thomas was hurt davito and tyrod didn’t have to go through that. The first few games Waller was leading the league in receptions then he got hurt. I’m out on DJ myself just because it’s years 6 but to sit here and act like he had any realistic chance is just unbelievable. “He doesn’t process the field well”, well he doesn’t have time to get to a second read before getting buried. “He holds the ball to long” well his top target is a 5th round pick who is top 5 in drops 4-5 seasons that can’t get open immediately, so who’s he supposed to throw to ? A lot of those mistakes come from getting beat up and his tryna make something happen. No qb can over come all three, bad offensive line no weapons and bad coaching
