giants made the right move but there still falling behind. Washington will take a HUGE leap if Jayden Daniels is the guy that he is hyped up to be. Eagles reloading with same squad we know they will prob be a 9 win team at the very very worse. Cowboys i dont think are getting much better but i dont know if there gonna be much worse either they are still a decent team. Giants could easily be looking at last in the division next year.

Not really. Jailin hyatt and wandale will be fine for a new QB to create chemistry and start the rebuilding journey. Giants made a huge mistake because now we have to wait another year before they can begin progressing/building from the bottom up.

Gotta take all of this with a grain of salt. On every show, not just Speak. I've seen every single one of these talking heads miss BADLY on many topics. Drafts, who's going to win this Sunday, who's going to win the playoffs, who's going to win the SB. It wasn't that long ago Joy was raving about Kenny Pickett and saying her Steelers made a terrific choice. Bottom line - it's all just opinion and theirs aren't any better than yours or mine. We all hit a few and miss a lot more than not. These folks just get paid well to do it!

Darius Slayton was the Giants best separator(surprisingly good relative to the rest of the leagues WRs according to PFF). Now they've got two guys for DJ to throw to. Jones needs to learn when to take risks and quickly. He throws the open guy, but he takes forever to do it. Drew Locke looked like an NFL QB against the 49ers. If Nabers doesnt have a huge game or two in the first 8 games they ought to see what Locke looks like

I do not get the experts with their point here, except to attack the Giants. "Their roster sucks". Well, how are they going to get a good roster without selecting good players? "Who is throwing them the ball?" If they got a QB, the question would be "who is the QB throwing to?" You have to start somewhere. Now their WR corp is better with a solid 3 for the next 3-4 years. This conversation is going to look silly in 5 years When Nabers is a top, 5 receiver in the league and the other 3 quarterbacks are all being replaced already. You don't take a sub par QB over an elite player just because they are a QB. That's how you perenially have a top 10 draft pick. Glad GMs are smarter than the media talking heads.

I love how this panel is literally ignoring the glaring example of sending a rookie QB to a horrid situation. Look at Bryce Young. He went to no man's land. Who was he throwing to and what line was he sitting behind. And at this point who's handing the ball to. No one's trying to say the Giants are a serious team right now. Let them rebuild. And stop saying the rebuild starts with the QB. We've seen some teams get their QB and then BS their way to the SB even tho the roster was kinda lopsided in some places. Ala the Bengals not having an O line. It's also come back to bite them with Burrow never playing a full season. Now let's talk about all the QBs that got called busts on horrid offenses where they weren't a dynamic generational player but got treated like they were with minimal help

the guy who said the Giants offense was essentially the same as 2 yrs ago is wrong. In 2022, all the Giants had was Barkley. Yes, Barkley is gone, but 2 yrs ago the Giants were trotting out practice squad guys and UDFAs at WR. Robinson was injured, Toney was in outer space, and Golladay in terminal decline. This year they will have a true WR1 - Nabers, Hyatt, and Robinson. The O-line, if not truly "fixed" should be better than 2 yrs ago and while Barkley is gone, Singletary is by no means a poor RB. Bellinger, entering his 3d season vs. 2022, his rookie year. QBs come and go. No one knows at this point what QB opportunities will appear next season. Whether draft, trade, or Free Agencey.

I think the problem is if they did want to get to that 3rd spot they would have paid a ransom. And giving away draft capital for the future doesn’t help the roster situation. Which y’all say is barren. Putting a young qb in an offense with limit to no talent will yield the same results as Daniel jones playing. At least they got a cornerstone WR until they get a qb they want.

Can you guys not get some guys on the show that actually have talking points beside, “Jones isn’t good”. Talk about why the guy struggles in the games he played last year. The kid had injuries on the OL, a rookie center, Evan Neal who hasn’t panned out. 3# 3 receivers. Y’all are expecting Jones to make “wine out of rock” so she says. You guys don’t understand how that it takes all 11 guys even when some of you played in the NFL. The QB isn’t the problem, it’s the OL and was receivers if Nabers works out.

These people are clueless. This year we have a completely new oline and oline coach. Hopefully they do better blocking than last year. Skill position wise we have Nabers X, Hyatt z, and Wandale as the y, then Theo/belli as serviceable te’s? I would say this is a competent and competitive group. Let’s not forget DJ had one of the best deep balls in the league (22’ season), albeit he did go downfield much (mostly due to having to scramble immediately after the snap). If Dj gets more time to make a couple reads this year he’s got the weapons to win.

Get shady out of this show. Its okay to have joy because she brings something tothe table shady can never get. Have james back on for reasonable analysis, acho to fill in the shoe and dave adds variety.
