What I like about him is that he is a ball hawk but not in the sense where he is only looking for the ball so he gets burnt trying to get it he is a ball hawk in the sense where he will diagnose what is going and try and bait a throw and jump that so he's always playing his responsibility but still looking to make the play.

He just flat out knows how to play safety, and plays every play in the scheme perfectly.

Nice breakdown, and very pleased to see the "non-stat counting" plays as well. Having safeties play poorly is how we end up giving up big plays to the run, it'd be good to cut down on a lot of that.

May not have top end speed, but his quicks are great.

Considering we lost Jordan love and Xavier McKinney in the past 2 years, this is a very good fill. 👍🏻

Love the pick & we had another great draft. Now losing McKinney stung as he was an emotional young leader of the Giants & in the secondary. Sucks to lose Saquon also to the Eagles no less but Schoen & Daboll smartl addressed the Oline in free agency & pass rush with the amazing Brian Burns trade. He’s basically another draft pick for us. Schoen smartly improved the Oline & pass rush which is where he invested the limited cap space shrewdly instead of overpaying for a RB & S. He replaced Barkley with a better value in Devin Singletary & a 2nd round pick in Tyler Nubin. Nubin! Schoen & Daboll have given us the shrewdness, stability & continuity that we have been lacking during our past several years of mediocrity. We now have a smart & shrewd front office highlighted by Joe Schoen & secret weapon Asst. GM Brandon Brown. Andru Phillips is an ascendant cb who can slot over small but gritty DBs Flott & Holmes to play opposite Banks. We needed secondary help with Aaron Robinson being a 3rd round bust so far & McKinney leaving. Also I love the Theo Johnson pick for depth & insurance for Waller. Johnson & Bellinger could form a solid duo at TE. We added a stud #1 WR, improved the Oline & pass rush, added more offensive weapons like TE Johnson & RB Tract & also improving the secondary. We have retained most of our core keeping continuity & familiarity. Two of our biggest issues were retaining our own to keep continuity & overall roster contriction which is where Gettlemen failed despite some good draft picks. If you say you “build through the draft” but never sign guys beyond their rookie contract like Gettlemen did you’re basically running in place. Gettlemen wasn’t proactive but reactive which is why he failed. Schoen has changed that. We are starting to see the real imprint of the vision manifesting on the Giants roster now after two strong drafts. We have a shrewd front office & great coaching staff. We have a strong young & talented roster. This team has improved despite some emotionally tough losses in Saquon & McKinney. Jones knows it’s time to take a leap forward. People forget he had a strong rookie year & very good 2022. The Judge years were a wash & last year we lost all momentum with all the Oline injuries & Jones getting hurt. This is basically Year 2 for Jones under Daboll. I expect a breakout year for Daniel Jones. We have a balanced & deep roster now. We have an Oline, pass rush & offensive weapons. This team is young. I except them to have a breakout like the Packers did last year. If Jones can realize his potential now then we won’t have to worry about QB for the near future until we draft Arch Manning😆😉 Some so called analysts like Joel Klatt panned the Giants as “not having a plan” & “clueless” for taking Nabers over JJ McCarthy. I really hope this young Giants team which is smart & plays with heart & grit plays to the level theyre capable of & Daniel Jones has a 30+ TD Breakout year to shut the naysayers & doubters up. We are in good hands as Schoen & Daboll have brought stability & a vision back to the franchise which we have bene lacking since Coughlin was fired. Our success hinges on 2 factors. Staying relatively healthy for once as we have had too many freaking years with an abnormally high number of injuries. We’ve lead the league by a wide margin in many seasons for adjusted games lost by starters it’s almost like a curse. We need to stay healthy & Jokes needs to stay healthy & show what he can do with a balanced supporting cast. I’m hopeful. I hope we shock the NFC East. We are built To win & built for sustained success. They just have to execute. I believe Brian Daboll can have an Andy Reid like type of career trajectory.! Again, they just have to execute. You gotta believe! The sports media will continue to fawn over the Eagles & Cowboys while dismissing the Giants, so let’s give them a big collective STFUPLZKTHX from Big Blue. Let’s Go Giants!

He is OK. Not fast enough for big nickle, Not a significant upgrade from Belton. The pick for split safety was Dejean Cooper, but we overpaid for Burns. Our CBs not good enough for slow safety. Owens will be go practice squad I guess. He will look good in pre season, and bad QBs. But be toast against decent teams with fast WRs and good QBs. C grade pick for 2nd rnd.
