It's not just that the Mets blew another winnable game. It's that I expected them to and they did it so easily. And ending the game with the bases loaded seemed so fitting. When Alonso hit their 3rd home run I thought “Oh no, now we're in danger of losing 3 straight despite 3 HRs!” Only the Mets would find a way to lose in this fashion.

Let’s go Giants!! What another comeback in the 8th thanks to Patrick Bailey’s GRAND SLAM 7:38!!!!! Wow, 3 comebacks in a row!! Even cooler we now have a tied record and hope we win the series tomorrow 5/25 and hope Hicks gets the win tomorrow!! I was expecting the Mets would get a walk off in the bottom of the 9th inning because they had the bases loaded but NO, Chapman did an amazing throw to get the 3rd out 9:46!! Keep up the amazing work and hope we have a winning record tomorrow and we basically won because of Bailey’s comeback Grand Slam and hope we can be Slam Francisco!! Time to just promote the young prospects and give them the playing time. I don't see to see over the hill veterans losing 100 games for the Mets, I rather see the youngsters show some sparks in the majors that give me some kind of hope for next season.

I was at this game, until I left early when the Giants were doing awful in the 7th. I was watching ESPN on the train home and saw the grand slam and I was like, "Really? I left before history was made?"

Sorry everyone, Luciano, at 22, has the yips and it is not correctable, he is a right fielder or DH.

9:51 - chapman had to one-hop his throw. if he made the throw in the air, it would have been slower and the runner would have been safe.
