Finally the right way to showcase a guitar tone , body fullness, I was about to give up on this guitar until I saw your video now I start my saving for one of these Gibson J35 banner looks kind of vintage.
I love my 2013 J35..Great instrument. It will play soft and smooth as shown or will really crank and bark if that is how you want to play it. #1 in my book!
Wonderful 'old-skool' picking on a wonderful 'old-skool' guitar! I have my eye on a used J35 at the moment and this demo is tempting me to pull the trigger. Now, I wonder how long I can survive on a packet of cornflakes and half a carton of milk...
Gibson acoustics will never be as good as martins that's why everybody plays martins in the studio...and Gibsons on stage cause they look more exciting... hummingbird, dove, j200 you name it...my opinion...the tiger guard looks cool af
It seems you not much of a musician as for musician the main thing is the ear and what is perceives. I wouldn't never pick a guitar because it only looks cool as the acid test is the musical quality of the performance. So you rational is seriously flawed. It nice to have a look and the sound, its never nice to have look and not sound. It would be eating a burger that looked perfect and made out of paper how far would that go. Geeish......
What a rote idea it is! Playing Martins is for the sake of clean bass and mids and highs while playing Gibbos are for warmer and a little bit harsher sounds. Plus, no guitar brand makes the sound more comfortable to sing with. It is just ridiculous to say one company is better than another when they are so much different. Apples and oranges
Gibsons actually are played in studios … every day and night of the year . Good Gibsons are much better then bad Martins … good Martins are better then a bad Gibson . I actually prefer the Gibson / mahogany sound over a typical good Martin . I’ve not owned a pre war Martin unfortunately. (Only dream ) I do have a pre war Gibson . Incredibly warm sounding and a feather.
@@SiggyMe roast me 😄get personal...what do you know about me being a musician or not? C'mon, Ive played a couple Gibson acoustics over the years, real old vintage ones...newer ones, especially hummingbirds cause I think they look stunning, they sucked in particular...so I formed this believe...the only real genuine good Gibson acoustic was a 1952 J45 at Norman's that I played, but that one was 9k $$$, and I guess maybe I was just unfortunate to pick the wrong ones or something BUT every Martin on the other hand that I ever picked up (asides their road series and budget stuff) wasnt sounding bad, even the newer ones, played fabric new not played in Om's and 000's they all sounded fine from the beginning, some gibson L models I've played sounded not pleasant at all for my ear, maybe that's what some blues folks go for...and I get that Gibson create a certain sound and all but I'm TEAM Martin baby and you can't change that, my 1996 D28 will probably still ring 10 years after I strung my last G chord on it 😄❤️🩹
