Please let me know My tooth has three crown cap ( all thee tooth rc done) cap is like bridge but one in front of molar broke My three tooth which have rc and cap is legt side bottom ( just behind canine till molar ) Crown cap broke and problem is when cap came out my tooth(rc tooth stuck to crown also came out) so now i hv 2 rc tooth and 3rd rc tooth is missing but however i bought riva lutin GIC and using it I am in dubai working and cant afford dentist. Riva i got from one of tge co worker who went to india My question is sir please is their a way that cap shpuld not come out it keeps coming out after 2 months sometimes one month Is the reason i m not having curing light Is curing light necessary for reva cement to hold more stronger to crown so crown doesnt come out One more thing Now crown is not 3 crown together Its one crown and two crown together after it got broje from joint and came out Crown is not zaconia Please advise
Hello friend, Want to tell you few points Retention of cap not only depends on your cement but also the tooth beneath it. (it's shape , height and so on) The underlying tooth might be carious , restricting a proper bond between cement and tooth. Otherwise the cap doesn't come out in 1-2 months. One thing I can advise Avoid having sticky and hard foodstuffs on that side. It will prolong the life of debonding of cap from tooth.
