Hannibal killed Gideon as far as I'm concerned 😭 He turned Will into his little errand boy lol. But yeah he had to be super confused at the end

hannibal is a master manipulator, he manipulated gideon to go after alana and then manipulated will to go after gideon by saying "i'm worried about alana bloom" and then leaving will alone in the room with the car keys and the gun

This show has the best writing of any other show I have seen, but not only that, the music itself is a character... the mood it brings to the scenes. This show is art, fine art... not Hollywood "art". This wasn't made by a mediocre monkey typing for eternity waiting for the perfect sentence to come up, this was made by someone who understands storytelling to a whole new level. I mean, the complexity of each scene, each dialogue, and each frame is just pure perfection. Like fine dining. Criminally underrated show... CRIMINALLY. No other show holds a candle against this one... no other show. Not GOT, Sopranos, Dexter, The Boys... Hannibal is peak art.

They said it was encephalitis in the previous episode, which is curable. It's an inflammation. But it will cause brain damage if it lasts longer. So Hannibal is playing with Will's life and ability to function (if he's cured too late). Every seizure is causing brain damage, and every seizure will make the next seizure more likely to happen. Basically conditioning the brain to have seizures. So, not great.

Hannibal Lecter is genuinely terrifying, imagine a genius serial killer who spends his time outsmarting the FBI as if its nothing just off of his intellect alone. His manipulation is so good and imo he is the best antagonist in fiction

Ep11 is Rôti, a dish of roasted meat (mostly game or poultry) and vegetables cooked in a savory gravy. Each type of roasted meat is accompanied by its own particular sauce and gravy, with a green salad served separately on a cresent shaped dish.

Season 2 is pretty much the indisputable favorite season. I’m sure there are people that like 1 or 3 better, but it’s rare from what I’ve seen. So get excited. 😄

1:24 this dish is a coconutty sheep gut curry called Aatu Kudal Kulambu (or "Kudal" for short) Originally, the script called for Gallinejas, a Spanish dish made from sheep's entrails, but there was a change cus they already did a Spanish dish last ep (the ham leg). Since they have to make sheep gut dish to keep with the sheep metaphor in the script, the food stylist suggested a South Asian dish of sheep gut curry. From her blog, "On set, we were debating the best wine to serve with the Kudal and Mads suggested a frosty glass of Hannibal’s homebrewed People Beer. Perfect!", so no matter if the gut in his dish are actual sheep or not, Chilton's getting served people either way😭

Hannibal is my all time favorite show, so I love the whole thing. That being said, season 2 is the best season of the series as well as being one of the best overall seasons of any TV series ever!

6:59 to my understanding, he probably pled or will be pleading insanity? Like Dr.Bloom said, if he pled insanity in court, he might have a case of 'not being fully responsible for his action' and might have avoided the death panelty.

8:18 i just noticed that they do that with a lot of the murders in this show... equating them to, like, courting for serial killers😭 Tobias and his serenade, Gideon and his "call" to the Ripper, Hannibal and his gift-wrapped murder on antler for Will in ep1😭
