गांव खूबसूरत है और इसके अलावा कुछ खास देखने लायक नही है ।। इस तरह की सुंदरता प्राकृतिक गांवो में भारत में भी देखने को मिल जाती है बरसात के मौसम में ।। मुख्य चीज है सजावट और मेंटेनेंस ये सब होता है पैसे से ।। सदियों तक डच लोगो ने भारत जैसे देशों के लूटा है और उस पैसे से ये लोग सजावट कर रहे है ।।

जी बिलकुल, ये गाँव अपने well maintenance के कारण ही खूबसूरत है। प्रकृति के सौंदर्य की तुलना में कोई दूसरा आकर्षण मनुष्य सृजित ही नहीं कर सकता ! डच लोगों को भारत से गए लगभग 200 साल हो गए। इतिहास को दोष दिए बिना अगर हम अपने गावों की साफ़ सफाई और व्यवस्थाओं का और अच्छे से ध्यान दें तो हमारे गाँव इन गावों से कहीं ज्यादा खूबसूरत दिखाई देंगे। धन्यवाद !

Hi, will be there next weekend, i don't have any boat driving experience nor I'm a swimmer but i drive car a lot, so will i be able to steer the boar or should i skip it ? Need suggestion.

Hi, I would not recommend you to miss riding a boat when you are in Geithoorn. There is no prior experience needed for that. As the canals are not deep, so in worst case you can walk over the canals.

If you are looking to visit here in the low season, you should plan your trip before the summer starts. During the summer, Giethoorn is fully packed with tourists. However, in summers, you enjoy the true beauty of Giethoorn. I was there in September, which was also not a bad season to visit Giethoorn.

Undoubtedly, this is heaven on earth. I remember that you are planning to visit Netherlands from a long time, hope the situation will get normal soon. The water is not much deep. Its max 1.5 mtrs in few places. We asked them to provide the life jackets and they convinced us why they aren't providing. :)

Hi Chanchal, we booked the boat through Giethoornbootjehuren.nl You pick the boat from a particular location provided by them and then it is mandatory to drop the boat again to the same location from where you hired it.

Hi, you should dedicate a whole day to visit here. Staying overnight would be your choice, but I not a must. You may book a boat for the solo trip, but better if you opt a group boat, as there are options for big boats like for 20-30 travelers.
