This scene always gets me. Beth has severe social anxiety but pushes herself out of her comfort zone for the benefit of others. She truly does fight her enemy bravely ❤️
The best scene in the whole film is when Mr Laurence is listening to her play where she can’t see him. A very true and sensitive depiction of masculine/fatherly love towards women that you almost never see presented in today’s media.
Ok, guys, this scene is so emotioanal and we know it, but I would stop for a moment to admire Jo's laugh 0:48 it’s fantastic😂 And naturally, Jo laughs and pretends to ignore Beth to take time for the surprise: the piano!😍
i don't think it's unpopular to like her at all, i mean who wouldn't? she's a sweetie, but she doesn't receive as much attention as the other characters, probably because they stand out a bit more in terms of depth and personality. beth is also my favourite character and is the one i connect with the most, although i appreciate the others a lot as well ♡
