Great tutorials Fred! I just ordered my first board, a PSR s950, and am using your setup to help guide me in building mine. I have a couple questions: 1) I don't recall seeing in your videos or in songbook+ manual. The songbook+ manual mentions using either bluetooth pedals like Cicada PageFlip or AirTurn or a midi pedal. It also mentions a number of possible actions to assign to the pedals. Would you be willing to do a video on your pedal setup? Question 2 in following comment.
1. Yes, on a T4 you can control the background. There are 29 preset options, or you can load your own jpeg. Note this is a global option; it's not at the file level. I expect the 950 is the same. 2. There are limited options for fonts. It supports only one character set (ANSI 256 I believe), two fonts (one proportional, one fixed), and three font sizes. 3. The keyboard does not control the aspect ratio of the display. That's a feature of whatever display you are using.
Hi Fred. Hope all is well. Thanks for your great videos and the time you put into them. My question is your music format I see on your ipad. Seems nice and clear and large format. Since it appears wikifonia no longer exists, I cannot seem to find a good source of music laid out well. My scans of my fakebooks are too tiny to be useful. Do you have a good source, digital or print, that you use? Thanks
I use Finale to create all my sheet music. It's a fair amount of work, but I only have to do it once, and I get the music organized exactly the way I want to play the song.

Question 2) On the lyric output on the external monitor, are you able to control the background your lyrics display on (ex put in my own background jpeg) and control the font & size of lyrics displayed? I notice you have a widescreen display (16:9), which is what I want. Does Tyros set that up? Since I don't have my board yet, but only manual downloads, I'm curious since the manual says almost nothing about the video out feature. s950 is on backorder w/ about a 6 week wait.
