Electrician here. I just finished a year and a half long project of creating an assembly line for a powder coat line for custom car bumpers and star steps etc for jeeps and off road vehicles. And this blows my mind. Wow. Beautiful
It’s like a mix of Tesla’s own brainiacs and some collabs with other tech giants. Tesla’s crew designs some wild custom machines specifically for their needs, but they also snag some cool tech from other companies. Basically, it’s Tesla teaming up with the best of the best to make those Giga factories churn out magic!
KUKA, also a German industrial robotics manufacturer. It was bought by the Chinese a few years back, which was very controversial in Germany for national security reasons.

GigaBerlin is amazing. What we don’t see and is as amazing to me is the logistics happening behind the scene. 5000 cars per week is at least 10 000 tons of part and raw material delivered and dispatched each week to the factory German organization at its best. Congrats to the whole Tesla Team !
the factory may be clean, but for example not the sewage it pours into the sewage system. And it is A LOT MORE DIRTY than Tesla told the public and the authorities

Das sieht bei VW, Mercedes und BMW nicht anders aus. Beeindruckend ist, wieviele der Maschinen und Roboter von deutschen hidden champions gebaut werden. Das ist das Rückgrat der deutschen Wirtschaft. Und der Grund, warum Unternehmen wie Intel, CATL, Tesla, Microsoft und VW grade Milliarden in deutsche Standorte investieren. Von deutschen Herstellern gibt es übrigens genauso Videos von der Montage. Genauso beeindruckend.
As a movie maker I am amazed by the drone shots and driving skills :O Also as a person who worked as a quality control and welder in a car parts factory I am amazed how clean this factory is, because our looked like its 20 years old, not only 4.

Not sure if I am more impressed by the factory of the skills of this drone pilot to pull off the shots in such close proximity to pre-programed robots to not expect- nor give a fuck about any thing else other than their job lol.

I can just say WOW!!! This much technology in one place. It is mind blowing. I, being a Mechatronics Engineer, can dream of seeing this much technology in place.
this is WAY too surreal, cool, and hats off. As a college student working on rover projects, it astonishes me HOW remarkably hard and technical it must've been to make this ENTIRE thing automated, yet they did it. and despite most cars needing the same things and same steps, this is definitely one of the HARDEST products for sure to automate to this level... and its not new for tesla! Ik they had lots of people pissed with the production line issues and delays but seeing the line now, and its six sigma properties, Its incredible how little they messed up while undertaking something so big.
This is by far my favorite electric vehicle brand, I'm really looking forward to owning one someday, though my country right now doesn't have electric charging facilities yet, but I'd be willing to charge it at home using the mobile kit, and it would work just fine. You got my respect TESLA. I love you
